New Orleans Pelicans agree.

We didn't like our draft position at #9 and have been trying to move up or out of the draft completely for quite some time now. We found a deal that allowed us to move up a couple spots to secure our target. We also moved Rivers who wasn't going to see any playing time for us at all. We grabbed a 2nd rounder next year from Sacramento which could end up being pretty close to a first rounder when all is said and done. Good dealing!

Kings accept. One of the two guys we're torn on will almost certainly be there at #12 and so we're able to move down a couple spots, still most likely be able to get out target, and pick up an asset in Rivers.

We really like what Rivers brings to the table as well. He's a pretty poor defender, but he's a playmaker who had a very efficient season last season and can score the ball at ease. We need young upside assets like Rivers on our rebuilding squad and we're pleased to add him.

Was a pleasure as always Rizzo.
