CSL Tonite! - Day90/Trade Deadline Rumours Part 2, The West.
*fudge it! Missclicked and closed the browser window.. Why the hell did I play Counter Strike for mTw some years ago. It seems I lost all my aim...
Now a shorter version..
Most likely traded Players

South East Division
New Orleans Pelicans

They are just fine. The trade with Cleveland just made them the best team for a decade. Rizzo is known for not trading much, unless its a clear win for him and his Franchise. So why should he start trading now? He will get his first ring, period.
Houston Rockets
Trade Chance: 25%
I assume they could be looking for upgrades, but who to give up? Balvin? Ross? Gallo? I believe everybody else is way to important for Houston and will stay with them for the rest of the season. Bavin just doesnt provide enough value to get an upgrade and it seems Ross is one of willys favorite players. So its only Gallo. But where to move Danilo? Maybe Brooklyn? But for who? Hard to predict. I assume they will stay quiet.
San Antonio Spurs
Trade Chance: 50%
It seems Myles is actually pretty loaded with work in reallife and just doesnt find the time to take deeper looks into possible trades. It hurts to see the team cant keep playing like they did last year. On top Lawson and Kawhi are gone. San Antonio received a load of great young players, but MCW and co need time to develope. Will they be active again? Hard to predict. It really depends on how much time Myles finds for negotiations.
Dallas Mavericks
Trade Chance: 50%
I believe Tanner is still looking for possible trades. His team isnt playing great and they havent the youth to develope. So they have to look for possible upgrades via trades. I really liked the Gasol trade for them as they received a really great package for an aging Parker. Though I really cant see the fit of Jeff Teague. But maybe it works and Tanner proves me wrong!
For now I dont know which player could be moved. Maybe Hill? But I cant see anybody is interested in George.
Memphis Grizzlies
No GM.

Portland Trailblazers

Andrei made some gosu moves adding guys like Allen and Korver to clear the path for Lillard. If just Tkap would have had Andreis knowledge about the game...
They just dont need to make moves. Obviously they need a younger, defensive minded Center badly to let him play alongside LMA. But Sammy D and Meyers L. are still able to protect the middle. This team looks good as it is, no trades needed.
Utah Jazz
No comment due to the bad love affair between daprable and me.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Trade Chance: 25%
He wants to trade, but it will be hard to find a great deal. Marcos is looking for a 3&D guy, but they are pretty rare and Mr. Beck just cant offer much as Derrick Williams, Barea etc. are his only moveable assets. Not really guys you want on your team. But maybe he's able to make a move for Danny Green. Myles got a shit load of shooting guards and I could believe he is looking to move one.
Minnesota Timerwolves
Trade Chance: 100%
Well, already said here they will and have to make changes. I just cant say what they are able to get done. Granger for Budinger and Williams to New York? Would be a start to get some chemistry to Minnesota. Im sure Jake figured out what he has to do and will make the moves needed. Lin, McLemore, Parsons, Love, Bogut looks like a great core. But to be honest? After Granger I would move Love for a huge package. Just really cant say where he could be headed. Maybe to Utah for Ibaka + x? Maybe to San Antonio for Udoh + x? Hard to say.
Denver Nuggets
Trade Chance: 100%
Pek and KCP are sitting already a while. I assume they are getting moved. After I predicted Anderson Varejaos direction wrong yesterday, as it seems AV is on his way to Golden State, its maybe Nikola who is headed to Sactown? Would make sense. Just no idea who will leave Sacramento. Okay I have an idea as Dylan "verbaled" Glen Davis and Jahii Carson, but with Holiday on board, why trading away Pek for Carson? A three way? Possible. Lets see what happens tomorrow.
Pacific Division
Los Angeles Clippers
Trade Chance: 50%
Rhoxxy just put together a team he likes but is open to trade away a lot of his guys again as Kemba and Josh got injured due to his high pace, FCP, man to man defense. Only problem, I assume rhoxxy didnt notice Kemba is trade restricted past the deadline due to his extension. Anyway, still Josh left who could be traded. I have to admit I always thought he is hard to trade due to his huge contract but this season teached me something different as Josh already got traded more often than Chris Gatling and Billy Owens together.
Golden State Warriors
Trade Chance: 100%
Not much to say as HiGrade put up an article yesterday which explained his plans and future trades pretty "detailed". I assume Anderson Varejao is headed to Oakland? We will see tomorrow!
Los Angeles Lakers
Trade Chance: 40%
Russel is injured again. I assume AK is looking for a backup PG to fill the hole. Actually he is shopping Butler and Deng around but it seems there is actually no team in need of a veteran small forward. Rumors are saying Shane Larkin could be headed to LA, but its hard to say who could be on his way to Orlando. I value Larkin higher as Deng or Butler and I cant believe AK is looking for a trade like Ledo + Larkin for Beal. Maybe Jose Calderon for Luol Deng? Just an Idea.
Sacramento Kings
Trade Chance: 100%
He just did it again. He created a team out of nowhere! Lowry, Evans, Kawhi, Amir looks already decent and they are just missing a Center and like Dylan already said there is one on the way to Sac-Town. The only quetion is: who will it be? Our trade experts figured out two player who could be on their way: Anderson Varejao or Nik Pek. As AV is on its way to Oakland as it seems I assume it will be Pekovic. I believe they wont get into the playoffs as the West is just too strong, but their team will make some noise next year.
Phoenix Suns
Trade Chance: 25%
It was a really good move. Im sure Marshall would have the talent to be a top 5, maybe top 3 pick in this years draftclass. So trading away a decent pick to nab a package Sullinger + Marshall is a great move in my eyes. But maybe draftday (hopefully not again a draftweek) will prove us wrong. For now Marshall was the missing piece for Phoenix.
Though Tim detected one hole he still has to fill: his team needs a 3&D SG. Actually 3&Ds are pretty rare, but Tim will keep looking for possible trades, no doubt.

As always, excellent analysis. Thanks for taking the time to put these together Dennis - great reads.
Sounds like Jrue could be on the move as well.
Someone needs to max out DeAndre Jordon to keep the Pelicans honest!

Jestor, keep your awful ideas to yourself!
Great writeup and there is a Rizzo% chance we make a trade!

Well, we will be making a move, but not the ones you mentioned.
I'd be shocked if OKC could pull off a move. Like you said, Marcos seems to want to make a move, but he just doesn't have a lot of moveable pieces.

Great read once again and Houston may be very quiet come deadline or maybe not but I do like how you noted teams sitting guys for trades...
That's some great investigative journalism right there.
And yeah OKC/ marcos shot his load with his last trade lol, I know he's fiending to make a move though.

Maybe our best boost for the playoffs is already at our team.. Williams will have time (and opportunity) to prove himself with Brewer going down for so much time, as well as Hayes will get some minutes too. I know I probably won't find same value for Derrick so the best may be to stick with him and give him chances of proving the league wrong.

Re: CSL Tonite! - Day90/Trade Deadline Rumours Part 2, The West.
Browser screwups always suck.
Anyway, yeah we keep looking, but you're correct it's unlikely we make any more moves this season. There appears to be no interest in the Bulls and Lakers firsts, and it'd require the right player for me to consider trading the Spurs' first - none of which I've seen on any trade blocks.
Had some chatter here and there about Redick, but again haven't found the right guy for him.
Sully is really emerging as a force for us in the post with Oden's injury, enough that it's making me seriously revisit my draft and FA plans.

Very nice read as always Dennis, looks like a trade happened for Dallas though.
