We came into the season expecting Swaggy P and Andray Blatche to be solid backups to our starting 5, but it sure as hell didn't pan out that way. And the way things have gone this season, they've fallen into disuse and at this point they're just taking up spots on my roster and possibly minutes for more valuable guys. I can't tell you how many team incident reports I've received about Nick Young and Andray Blatche "blasting the coach over playing time" as well as getting into "loud arguments" with the rest of the team. It was time for them to go. In return, we bring in veteran Metta World Peace who we hope can be a solid defender off the bench. He's on an expiring contract so if it doesn't work out, oh well, we move on in the offseason.
