Rudy Tomjanovich

Although Rudy Tomjanovich was released by a prior Lakers management due to exhaustion, the new regime has always loved Rudy T's intensity, self-deprecating humor, and reputation as a player's coach, and we believe these values are a match to our own philosophy in the front office. So we would like to bring Rudy back, this time on a permanent basis until he's ready to retire, as the Lakers' head coach. Whether we go for the championship this year, or opt for the rebuild, we have faith in Rudy's ability to successfully fill either role.
