2013-2014 CSL Top 5 (C)
Last but not least, we have the centers, another stacked position in the CSL.
*The standard is solely based on performance during the 2013-2014 season, and not who the best players are or who I'd want to have most. I tried to consider all factors, including team, record, efficiency, and etc.
1. Andrew Bynum (PHI): 22.1 points, 11.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 60.1% TS, 28.0 PER
Bynum had a tremendous season, as he led the 76ers to a top seed in the East while Dwyane Wade was healthy. He's a force on the offensive end and on the boards, and is likely the top offensive big man in the entire league. With Wade back healthy and possibly more additions to their bench, it wouldn't surprise me to see the team notch a top seed in the relatively weak Eastern Conference.
2. Dwight Howard (OKC): 20.0 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, 54.8% TS, 25.4 PER
Right behind Bynum in the rankings is Dwight, who many may actually prefer over Bynum. Here's a guy that can anchor your defense and also provide great offense and rebounding. He did a lot of heavy-lifting while LeBron James was out, and while the Thunder record wasn't great, he was more than capable in keeping the team afloat. It looks like it's gonna be a fierce battle between these two once again this season, unless...
3. Serge Ibaka (UTA): 14.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.0 blocks, 56.8% TS, 20.7 PER
Can you say defensive anchor? Ibaka posted amazing defensive numbers this past season, while also leading the entire league in block shots per game. He played the best basketball of his career this year. He's a guy that can also spread the floor and plays within himself offensively, and though he'll never put up very flashy offensive numbers, he's as valuable a guy as you can get at center.
4. Anthony Davis (NOP): 15.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 blocks, 59.3% TS, 23.2 PER
Will Dwight and Bynum be competing for second place? Davis had a spectacular season, as he was great all-around and looks like he's developing slowly but surely. Will this be the year that Davis finally breaks out as a legitimate superstar and lead the Pelicans to a Playoff appearance? We'll see, but with teammate Marcus Smart and entire team likely to improve, the team could be in a really good place this season.
5. Ekpe Udoh (SAS): 11.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 52.9% TS, 19.0 PER
There were a lot of guys considered for this spot such DeAndre Jordan, Pau Gasol, Nikola Pekovic, and Marc Gasol, but gotta give some props to the Udoh and the Spurs, and finally give that team some love. Udoh had a tremendous year and was one of the top defensive centers in the entire league, while also leading a top defensive team. He also managed to stay relatively effective offensively and on the boards.

Ibaka in PF and C rankings?
Definitly missing Jordan, Pek, Gasols but most importantly DMC...

Yeah gotta replace Ibaka on PF. Mistakenly put him there.
DMC only played like 12 games so hard to put him on the list.

I'd have put AD over Ibaka, and while I appreciate the love for Udoh and the Spurs, I have to admit that the other centers probably deserved it over him, though he did anchor one of the best teams in the west.

Can't complain at all about AD sitting at #4 at a position he just started playing last season. I'm hoping for another step forward this season and, with a little more preference work, his scoring should continue to increase. He is my CSL man-crush with Marcus Smart a close 2nd.

Udoh has decent numbers but some of those other guys and even my being biased with Andre Drummond should have gotten some respect there, but in due time.

I think I would definitely give Jordan the nod over Udoh at #5, but there is an argument to be made either way.
