With the lack of cbox I feel like this type of thread is needed.

First, just surprised to see LAC not pick up Varejao. He may have just missed the deadline I dunno...

Amare also opted out, wow. Kinda puts them in an awkard situation, but this gives LAL close to $14m in cap space if they renounce both Morris and Amare.

Zbo picked up his PO. Not surprised, but the very, very faint glimmer of hope I had was crushed by his fat ass.

Frye is an FA wow, no way he gets near the cash he opted out of. This engine is weird.

Jerebko, Speights, Blatche, and Brand also opted out. Damn everyone but Zbo optin' out.

Kravstov, aka the worst player on a CSL roster, also opted out. Jesus.

Miller also opted out of $6m, man. All these FAs be crazy.

Is there somewhere that lists those contract decisions made or are you just going off of your memory of who had a player option and who didn't?

I didn't realize all these players opted out. Crazy.

All of the weird opt outs make me want to raise this question:

Does the PA Process plan to handle this part of free agency as well? Amare and Frye opting out is just blasphemy as they both are losing quite a bit of cash so late in their careers.

But yeah, Amare opting out makes me a very immediate player in this free agency period.

I know they're League controlled but I'd love to see a team like the Grizzlies get Amar'e, that team is starving for a player to build around or promote and though he's 30+ they still need a name guy to help em out.

With that said I could see STAT in Philly, back to Charlotte, maybe even NO but they're too cheap to go after him short or slightly long term, Rizzo gonna stand pat.

Varejao is another guy I could see in NO, not sure Rizzo does but Anderson should definitely receive some interest this offseason from quite a few teams.

We can't control that. So no, PAs will not handle that.

Amare really isn't that bad. Sure he never would have given up 23 mill in real life, but at this point in his career he's also not nearly as bad as in real life. He'll get a decent deal somewhere.

You could. Just have the PA's make the decision before it's processed in game and then remove the option flag in the database. Done.

Depends if we want to though. Always entertaining seeing who opted in and out.

Anyways, weird seeing Blatche opt out, was hoping to use his contract for trades.
