Re: Spurs/Kings
Spurs accept. Things weren't working with the current roster and Tim Duncan needs a legitimate apprentice. I'm gonna miss Ty and Kawhi's defense for sure, especially since this moves Danny Green and Kevin Martin to SF for more minutes, but I think a change needed to be made. I love MCW's future as a PG (high potential in passing and IQ, pretty good handle and stealing) and Ed Davis obviously has a bright future. Rivers has become a good 6th man scorer and I intend to keep him in that way. And hopefully, Sacramento continues to suck and I get a lottery pick in 2017, or a top pick in 2018.

Re: Spurs/Kings
Kings accept. With no pick this year we obviously had no intention on tanking. Our goal has been to compete as soon as possible, while also getting players who fit our system and will help us get to contention for a title as soon as possible. We feel we did a tremendous job of doing that in this deal, acquiring two young studs in Kawhi and Ty. Lawson is a tremendous overall point guard and a great defender, he's easily an upgrade and better than any of our current PG. Kawhi is someone we have LONG coveted and we are just thrilled to get him to Sacramento. Giving up MCW was easy getting Lawson in return while still keeping Carson, and while giving up Davis was tough to do, we feel the return is easily worth giving up a very solid big man.
