Re: Hawks/Nets
ATL confirms.
We give up a lot here, Okafor has been playing great ball on both ends this season and gets to start with the Nets. This is about acquiring Rudy Gay to bolster our bench. Cousins will split time at PF and C (take Okafor's minutes) and Gay will back up the 3/4 and in spot minutes the 2. Brooks is a pretty good shooter off the bench which is good injury insurance.
Rudy Gay is having a great season, the raw numbers are impressive at 24/6/2 w/ 2.1 stls but what sold us was his efficiency - 46 FG%, 44 3P% and 81 FT%. He is having a comparable season to Melo this year, and he's only 27 years old.
Thabo will be promoted to starting SG and Kyle Lowry will see an increase in minutes as well.
Great dealing BKN, goodluck.

Re: Hawks/Nets
Nets accept.
With the adquisition of Curry, Gay's scoring was a problem in the depth chart. Hawks send good players for us. Matthews is a 3&d player with little touches, excellent complement for Curry. I will prove Thomas Robinson in sf position and Okafor can play good minutes with Lee in the post. Stuckey has the experience that we need in backcourt.
