MEMPHIS, July 3, 2014– Andrei Sanzharov has been named General Manager of the Memphis Grizzlies, the team announced today. Andrei is entering his third season as a GM in CSL. He previously held the General Manager position for CSL Champion Portland Trail Blazers the last 2 seasons and led them to 112-52 record.

“Memphis franchise has made tremendous strides over the last few seasons and I thank GreenBear for his hard work and dedication and wish him nothing but success with his new team,” said Andrei.

“Our ownership’s commitment to this franchise and the fans of Memphis is absolute. I decided to join this organization because I feel that commitment, not only by the resources they make available but also with their tireless passion for delivering a championship-caliber team. It is very tough leaving a phenomenal program we managed to build in Portland. They are in good hands with a local GM stepping up. I am looking forward to a new challenge and continuing the Grit & Grind tradition in Memphis," said Andrei.
