Update: About ready to begin!

Hey all -

File is about done and we've just got a few minor things to clear up before we upload the file for good! It should be uploaded in the next few hours or so! Once the file is uploaded, trading will open and we will begin preparing for our first sim.

Our first sim will be scheduled for Saturday afternoon around 3 PM Eastern. Our schedule will change to Monday-Friday, but the first sim will be Saturday to get us started and to prevent everyone from waiting too long for the start.

We will begin the update on this forum before moving to our new one, whenever it is ready.

Any questions feel free to ask away.

Ah damn, going back to Monday through Friday sims? That sucks, I really liked the 7 day a week sims.

But glad to hear that we're ready to go.

Also, might be time for some of you guys to get around to changing your usernames and avatars, huh?   

Really excited to get this started!

I really loved the fact that we had 7 sims a week but it's very difficult to do so because everyone has a life outside of CSL and just want to have some fun and relax a bit without as many obligations as possible when we have free time (and in most of the cases it means weekends). Still, I'm VERY happy that we're good to go!

Can't wait to see everything, hit the trade market, post some articles and play some basketball!

He did not log since 29th june.. May be worth to send him an email telling we're about to start since he expressed interest to continue and has even selected a team

As far as the sim schedule is concerned:

Daily sims was not good. It gave no one any time to breathe at all, especially the simmers. 5 days a week is much more practical.

And that's no big deal. We tried to see how it'd work. It worked pretty nice but the real deal is that you guys have more things to do and it wasn't giving you time to breath as you said. So whatever is better for the simmers is better for the sim

OP did not select a team or express interest. He hasn't logged on since the announcement and a team was selected for him randomly.

Didn't check everyone but one players age stood out as incorrect (Gorgui Dieng) he'd be 23 not 21 as listed.

Very awesome. I can definitely understand not doing a daily sim...It's tough to keep up doing that.

At least hit him by mail as a filler, if he's interest in returning to this new project he'll come. Great GM to have around.

We'll get the hang of it...eventually.

Hepefully the logo change from Bobcats to Hornets will help recognizing me from SS  

I really made the decision based on the new logo/unis, love the the change back to Hornets
