Insider vs. Wiretap
It seems as though there is a bit of confusion as to what makes up a CSL Insider Article as opposed to a CSL Wiretap Article. Here's a quick way to determine it.
If your article is 5+ paragraphs, it is an Insider article for sure. These articles aren't just longer, but the content is deeper. Perhaps it includes multiple quotes, or some statistical analysis. Either way, you aren't doing "welcome to the team, Player X" in an Insider unless you are discussing the ramifications of your new player, etc.
If your article is less than that, most likely it is a Wiretap. There are some exceptions. If you have really long paragraphs, then it's probably an Insider. If your article points out some charts or graphs or tables that aren't considered "paragraphs," then it's most likely an Insider. However, if your article is something like "New Coach in San Antonio" or a quick post welcoming a new player, then its a wiretap.
The reason this is important has to do with draft scouting. Currently, 1 article or 2 wiretaps are required to qualify for 2 scouting periods. If you write something and post it under "Insider" when it was really a wiretap, you are getting credit for scouting that you haven't earned yet. And we will be checking links before sending out scouting.
