Round 2 - Pick 59 - Houston Rockets

With Pick #59 of the CSL Draft (due to OKC dropping slots) on behalf of the Phoenix Suns, the Houston Rockets select F Arsalan Kazemi, Oregon whose draft rights are traded to the Phoenix Suns as part of the Beno Udrih/ Reggie Jackson deal.

We need post defenders and while he's too skinny/short to be anything but a hybrid forward, the second Iranian player after Hamed Haddadi looked the most ready-now defensive player in the combine and we're actually shocked he wasn't drafted before now, especially since he won't shoot enough for his poor shooting to be a major issue. He focuses on defense and rebounding, and that's all to the good, even if at 24, he's one of the oldest prospects.
