NEW BLOOD BUCKS
GM Riot couldn't hold back his satisfaction regarding his additions this off-season
It has been a crazy off-season for Milwaukee thus far. We've seen deals made and unmade, with controversy swirling everything that GM Riot has done for his ball club-- but the end result is something that has everyone within the Bucks organization jumping with joy. There are two big names headed to the city of Milwaukee via the draft and via trade, with the intent of bolstering the Bucks' back court and vault the team into Playoff contention next season-- Andrew Harrison and Jeff Teague.
Jeff Teague is all smiles at his Bucks introductory press conference earlier today, as he discusses his future with his new team. "I'm so happy to be here. I am coming off one of my best seasons as a pro, and I am excited to continue to elevate my play as a Buck", said Teague. This is true, as he averaged 16.4/4.4/4.6 last year on a very good Toronto Raptor team. "Yeah, I had a great time in Toronto. That is a great organization with a winning culture, and that is also part of what I want to bring over here to Milwaukee. The talent is definitely here, and the team has the resources to add even more", he added. The Bucks also hope he brings in a winning culture, as their team had the league's 2nd worst record last year.
There was also a lot of mutual excitement in the room as Andrew Harrison was introduced to the media. There was some uncertainty on draft night about where Harrison would be playing, as there was a deal in place to send him to Atlanta, but in the end it would be the team that drafted him that would keep him. "I am so blessed to be a part of this organization. I can't wait to get out there with Jeff, Marc and Kenneth and try to make some noise with this team", said Harrison. "I really feel like Jeff and I can complement each other well out there, as both of us have shown that we can play both guard positions. That should bring a lot of versatility to this team, but at the end of the day, the most important thing is getting the big fellas involved."
Just minutes after the press conference, Riot was spotted on the phone talking deals
What else could be in store for the Bucks? One would assume the top priority would be locking up Faried to a long-term deal, but aside from that, who knows what other big splashes could be in store. There have been some whispers about a possible move to bring in a pure point guard-- as both Mayo and Gallinari have reportedly been floating around in trade talks. If the team were to bring in a point guard, could this mean moving Harrison or Teague to the bench? There has been a trend in CSL of having a scoring punch 6th man, and both of these guys seem to have the tools to flourish in a role like that. It certainly leaves Bucks fans with something to think about as we continue throughout the off-season.

Really like your guards and think both Teague and Harrison could make great 6th men like Eric Gordon if you do in fact land a point guard to start. Locking up Faried is a must and I think the whole league knows that.

Re: New Blood Bucks
Teague had a really good season but at the SG position so it's definitely gonna be interesting to see how he performs alongside a guard like Mayo (as it stands) or Harrison or Player X.
I'd imagine he'd have the same production as he did with Brandon Jennings and Co in Toronto.

Like I said multiple times, I really like Teague and thought that was a good deal for him.
Harrison's looking like a top 2/3 player in the draft as well, and he gives you that guy who can be a go-to scorer in the perimter, which is something every team needs.
Nice work. Good to see Harrison fall to you.

Yeah, you can bet your bottom dollar that Teague will see some minutes at SG. Could another guard be added? DUN DUN DUNNNN.

I hope Teague kills it for you. I don't see him as a SG but it worked a bit for us last season.
Faried is the interesting thing. Being a UFA, I'm sure some team with cap space is going to make a big offer and you will need to decide if it's worth offering the same or more.

Re: New Blood Bucks
Harrison is going to be great, maybe even the best guard from this draft class
Just need to resign Faried and go from there. Teague was a good get and you have caproom and picks moving forward. Future looks bright in MKE.

Re: New Blood Bucks
Man! Riot you are looking pretty much like Harvey Specter:D!
It seems you are getting Kenneth back, so you should be way better this year, but I believe nearly every team will use the Zone as much as possible against MKE. Seems there is really no one able to hit threes on a solid level.
