Heat, Hawes Come to an Agreement
This just in: the Miami Heat and Spencer Hawes have agreed on a contract!
The agreed upon deal will keep the young center in Miami for the next five seasons at $8,000,000 per season. The fifth year of the contract is a player option, allowing Hawes to test free agency after the fourth season if he so chooses. Of all the offers received for Hawes, Miami's was just too good to pass up for Hustle Inc. and their client. The Heat offered him a starting position on a championship caliber team and the longest contract, so it was almost a no-brainer for Hawes. There was some negotiating on the salary and in the end both sides were able to find a happy medium to settlle this contract.
Ballers Inc. would like to thank the Miami Heat for their fruitful negotations and look forward to doing business with them again in the near future. We wish the Heat and Mr. Hawes nothing but the best for the duration of this contract.

Re: Heat, Hawes Come to an Agreement
Which is it? $8 million per season or $9 million?
9 x 5 = 45 million, but the signed contract thread says 40 million, which would be 8 million

Jesus Christ that is a big contract for Hawes. Didn't expect him to get anywhere near that. Miami has now spent 21 mil this off-season, and they've signed 2 of the 3 players that signed so far.

It is 5-years, $45m. Sorry for the inconvenience and has been edited in the signed contract thread.

He got compensated appropriately for his skillset and the numbers he will put up for the Heat.

Second player signed or 3rd if Faried, and both for MIA.
Did anybody else made offer for them?? I do not think Hawes offer isn't matchable for other teams. But maybe there were no more offers.

Re: Heat, Hawes Come to an Agreement
The deal's 8m/year.
We're glad to get him back at this price. Thankfully he's been pretty quiet overall and I made him a "low priority", but we really think he's going to thrive this season for us.
He's a guy really with no weakness and great inside scoring. His inside numbers are very promising and with more pref work, he can be extremely efficient I feel.
He's been underrated coz we barely played him, but we had his impending FA in mind. Didn't want another IT situation haha.

We here at Hustle Inc. would like to apologize for the confusion yet again. It has been a long day at the office working the phones with some absolutely fantastic GMs. The deal that our client and the Miami Heat have agreed to is for 5-years at $8 million per season with a player option on the fifth year. The total amount of the contract is $40,000,000.

Re: Heat, Hawes Come to an Agreement
in this case and will not serve as a precedent I have to give reason to Querejeta, as you may undoubtedly the youngest and best free agents in terms of ratings and age pivot out so fast and eight million, and others like ed davis gasol surely varejao okafor and others for atrocities.
if I understand that Miami is a champion team but no sign at all costs. good treatment from miami.
