Iguodala Close to Signing?
Hustle Inc. is reporting that one of their highest profiled athletes, Andre Iguodala, is looking to sign within the next day or two. I know nobody likes to listen to the agents, so we will let our client do the talking for us.
Andre Iguodala wrote:Everyone talks about free agency and how excited they are to get to that point of their career. For a while I thought it would be the same for me. After a few days I realized that this free agency thing isn't for me. Don't get me wrong, I want to go where I'm wanted, but I just want to know where I'm going to play next year. I don't like this waiting around and not knowing what's next for Andre. With that said, I have instructed my agent to find me the best deal available and get me signed within hopefully the next 48 hours. I just want to get to work right away.
What our client wants, our client gets! This isn't a 48-hour deadline, but it is a memo to the GMs across the league that our client is ready to sign very soon. He has a couple contracts on the table with one that sticks out as the front runner by a large margin. If offers don't improve, the current best offer will be the one inked.

I'd be shocked if Willy just didn't give Iggy what he wants to bring him back. It'd be a bad for Houston to jus thave Iggy walk.

Yeah, no-brainer re-sign for Houston. Not expecting to see an Iggy/Willy divorce.

Interested to see for how many years he's signing. Also, if he's giving Houston any discount (assuming he's re-signing)

I'm sure HOU's the one with the big offer. The Iggy situation will be interesting no doubt...
I could see him fitting on a variety of teams.

Reporter:
WillyJakkz, how do you feel about Andre Iguodala's recent comments to the press stating his disappointment in perhaps not being made to feel wanted? Have you heard them?
Yes I have heard Andre's comments and on behalf of the Houston Rockets we've felt like we've projected a feeling of being wanted to he and his agent...we would certainly like for Andre to return to Houston and weve made what we have felt are very very reasonable offers reflecting that to them and we also understand that Andre has to do what is best for himself and his career as well as family but we absolutely would welcome his return. We will however support whatever decision he and his agent come to whether it be in Houston or another franchise or even facilitate him going to another franchise if he so desires... That will be his decision, we've done all we can do, it's up to them to decide what's best and hopefully it's here in Houston.

shocking if Iggy leaves - they are fresh off a finals run. He seems to enjoy playing with Harden so no reason to leave

The only team that I could see him going to in terms of "win now" potential is CHA but he's a terrible fit with MKG. Expect him to suit up for HOU next season.
