Knicks welcome Marco Belinelli
The Itallian sharpshooter joins the Knicks
Belinelli will have plenty of open looks this season for the Knicks

Knicks finally announced today our first FA signing this summer.
Marco's been on our teams radar for a long time, but rather than paying a lot for him we patiently waited till he became a FA to get his services.
He didn't have much opportunities last year in Indiana, but was pretty efficient in the minutes he was given under our point of view. In just 6.9 mpg Marco shot 53% from the field, 49% from beyond the arc, and 93.3% from the FT line. Obviously it was a small sample to judge him, and we don't expect that exceptional numbers this year playing much more minutes. But he's sure going to do great given the opportunity, and we will here in New York.
With Marco's arrival, Knicks management also announced the intention to move Jordan Farmar, who will lose his job this year, even after doing great last year. He could go out in a package with another great shooter like Steve Novak, both above average shooter from the field and 3PT land.
