Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)

That's what it looks like. For the left column, you may adjust each individual section for each individual player. For the middle column, you may adjust each individual section for each position (all players under that position on your team will train in the setting you select). For the right column, the whole team will practice according to the individual settings you set. Each column has it's own time limit (you cannot take time away from the left column and put it in the middle column, for example). I believe each section has 100 hours combined across each section and that is the maximum you can use.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
One question..
We have 100 hours to train PGs, 100 hours to train SG, 100 hours to SF (and so it goes) or we have 100 hours to train one of the five positions (in that case can I spend 20 hours for PG, 20 for SG, 20 SF, 20 PF and 20 C)?
Same for the players, 100 hours to each individual player or 100 hours for only one player and 0 for the others (I mean, we need to choose one player to train individually or we can train them all). Also can I split that 100 hours in 5 or 6 players (in case we only have 100 hours to train one player only).
Least, how do we send that .tem file?
Thanks a lot!

For each position and player.
You use the fax to send .tems. Dont know if there is a special button to submit tems during TC. Else its the fax, like already said.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
It seems that team files cannot be attached to the forum anymore for some reason. Is it possible to allow for this with the new forum or no?
Rizzo uploaded to Dropbox and sent that link, however, that would be a pain to have to do everytime we have to submit one rather than just attaching to the forum like we did with the old forum.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
Wouldn't it be easier if we created a folder at dropbox and added everyone else to it? Well, at least I use that at my job and it's easy to share files from one computer to other.. Well, we can create a organize it with sub-folders, like that:
-> CSL
-> League File (easy, only the league file we're currently using, put it inside a folder to organize only)
-> Newly Added (here GMs would only be allowed to add, and the commissioners would do whatever they need to do with the file and move it to other folder as soon as they finished. That way, commissioners can make sure every new thing posted in dropbox is here, so that's a very organized system.)
-> Depth Charts (here would be kept only the currently DCs of every GM. Only commishs should be allowed to modify that folder, picking up files at Newly Added and putting here)
....
And so it goes.
The commissioners know more than I do what folders to add to CSL folder.
Then, it would be easier to do also, because we only need to copy / paste files to the newly added folder, and commishs would only need to copy / paste file from Newly added to its specific folder (I mean, DC files to Depth Chart folder...)
Sorry for my really bad english, hope you guys can understand it.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
One question:
Does TC have anything to do with players' potential?
I mean, George for example has a 95 def potential. Do I need to focus on defense a lot for him to develop till that 95 or it will come along with time and playing time, and I can focus on something else?
Thanks

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
There are two more Stats Updates during the season. So he will get his skillset updated depending on his performance.
Also he loses potentials or gains, you will never know the real potentials for sure until he reaches them. The potentials you see are correlated with the scouting ratings of your staff. Potentials of your own plyers are more accurate than potentials you see of players from other teams.
For example when I traded for Vucevic he had rebound potentials of ~95. after the first stat update they were at ~85.
And yes, it also happens a player doesnt reach his potentials, also it can happen his actual skills are decreasing because he's playing bad. Vucevic again had 55 OutsideS, was corrected to 30 during the last stats update.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
Q for Myles:
Am I allowed to send my tem via Email to you and Dylan? I dont have dropbox and I really dont use it.....
Just a question in General.. Why did we change the Forums if we arent able to upload our tems here? How to fix that.. Will become really really complicated now.

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
yeah, I also don't use dropbox but like Marcos' idea about having one for this league
I don't think commissioners want to go to 30 different boxes to download the files...
let us know guys

Re: Training Camp (Guide and Q&A)
I was going to say maybe a CSL Dropbox where all GMs drop their .tem files into would be the best way to approach this. I've never ran an online league for this game, but does it support an FTP server to import and export league files? Maybe we look into something like that to make it even easier on everyone?
