Avery Johnson on hot seat? Empty Avery Johnson on hot seat?

POR are 2-5 on the season. Questions arise whether a coaching change is required. A fresh, new approach. Expectations with this roster are higher than ever. Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge are perennial All-Stars and they are surrounded with quality role players. Yet, they just can’t seem to get it done this year.

While the Portland Trail Blazers would have everyone believe that head coach Avery Johnson isn't on the hot seat, changing a coach is easier than changing key players. And change is needed

As the POR lead man enters his third season at the helm, he seems to have the full backing of management. General manager Andrei Sanzharov has been steadfast in his support of the coach despite the rough start.

‘I am not too concerned about the rumours and speculation. My job is to win games and this is what I am trying to do night in, night out.’ – coach Avery Johnson said

Tough schedule does not make the situation easier and the upcoming few weeks will show whether the Blazers manage to recover or drop even further into lottery territory.

Stability and some continuity is what this team needs IMO.
Stay focus, believe in the players/system, and be patient. I say that cause I think that too many strat changes doesn't do well to any team, but that's just my opinion, there might be nothing true on that one.

Wins (and important ones I hope, since I bet 500 for your team against the Jazz!) will be coming soon for the Blazers.

Well it looks like Avery has gotten these guys on track going 4-1 since this article but in all fairness to him the roster wasn't the same and thank goodness you were able to get Ray Allen and Kyle Korver, they just may have saved Avery's job.
