Now that we have four capable simmers (rather than just Myles and I like it used to be), how do all you guys feel about us doing daily sims instead of just Monday-Friday? Sims would still be 3 in-game days, but we would start doing sims on Saturday and Sunday as well. What do you guys think? Give us some feedback!

7 days a week would be overkill and rushing thru the season.

I personally don't like the thought of that happening so I vote No.

Probably wouldn't be as involved and immersed with the team or League in general. LAW OF DIMINSHING RETURNS.

I do agree to an extent, and we will make the final decision as admins, but we wanted to gauge interest and see what the overall feeling of the league is.

Absolutely do it. If not 7 days, at least 6. I actually do get bored on the weekends, the activity here falls off a cliff after Friday's sim imo.

The regular season is very long, so I really don't see how sims 6 or 7 days a week could hurt.

Daily sim would be fantastic. If it's not going to be daily, then at least make it 6 days a week, with say..Sunday off. That would be just as good IMO.

Either way great idea, I hate it when there's no sim weekends.

Another reason I guess I'm just being a projectionist but we have alot of activity mainly in part cause the season is young and there are several championship quality teams gm's are excited about their respective franchise, once the playoff picture becomes a bit clearer the activity of non playoff teams disappears which is something I'm not looking forward to.

If we rush thru the season, we rush into low activity, not to mention rushing scouting etc.

Call me a grumpy old man (not really old) but you guys get the point.

If the Lakers had a GM this League would be complete.

Don't rush this great season, not worth it.

Weekend sim would be great, I really miss the sims those days. It might be rushing up a lot tough. I would consider having 2 day sims instead of three if we go up to 7 days a week.
Now: 5x3=15
2day sims: 7x2=14
The pace is OK IMO.

Anyway I like it both ways, so I think I'm not voting. On one hand I love weekend sims, (so do weekly ones), but I don't like the RS to end so fast! Summer time (FA, etc usually lasts a lot and miss the games in that period a lot Smile)

If we lower the days per sim to 2, we might as well not make a change at all, we'd just be slowing down the pace. That meand a lot more sims where your team doesn't get to play at all, so you might as well take a day off at that point.

If 3 days per sim at 7 days per week is too much, then 6 would be ideal. Slowing down the pace is a bad idea, imo

I like the continuity that comes with a daily sim, but if others are opposed to it I am pretty impartial.

2 day sims at 7 days a week could actually be an option. I like that as it doesn't rush through everything, even slows it down a bit, but it won't feel as slow with daily sims. My favorite idea yet.

I feel 2 days per sim everyday could fix this issue. We even slow down the pace to 14 days a week rather than 15, but the daily sims will make it feel just as fast/even faster.

I love that idea. Really appreciate it.
If you guys think simming 21 days per week is too much, you can easily sim 2 sim days per day, total of 14 simmed days per week.
Any way is great for me.

Definitely like the idea of daily sims and was even thinking 2 days every day would be great. It would be perfect. You wouldn't be rushing the season at all. Who cares if your team doesn't play, suck it up! I ran a league that simmed every day 1 day at a time and people LOVED it. Last for about 4-5 years. So with this idea of 2 days every day is perfect in my opinion. You're being selfish if you want 3 days simmed because you might not play. Even at this current pace, on Thursday, my team didn't play. No complaints at all from me.

I like the idea of 7 day 2 a day sims, I'm not opposed to that, much better than the thought of us going thru 21 sim days per wk.

Yay and appreciate the input being heard of the lone gm who was against 7 day sims.

I still think going through only 14 days per week at 2 days per is too slow (even if it's only one less than what we have now) but if the alternative is 15 days simmed per week at 3 days per, then it's a good change.

I still think 6/7 days per week at 3 days per sim is ideal, but whatever works.

I'm cool with 7x2. 7x3 would be tough for scouting, currently you get 14 days to meet scouting requirement, with 7x3 you'd only get 10

I can get behind 7 x 2.

From personal experience, 7 x 3 is WAY too fast for a media-driven league and results in activity crashing through the floor, simply because by the time you get around to thinking about writing an article and finding the actual free time to write it, the circumstances in which the article were originally to be written will have often drastically changed.

That was my thinking. 7 x 3 would hurt activity too much to do it.

I would not be in favor of 7x3 or even 6x3. I'm not looking to speed up the season at all. I think a 7x2 would be good because it keeps the activity up all week long whole still simming at nearly the same pace. The NLL does this and it is pretty close to perfect and I think many others here would agree with that.
