Chicago does this trade to shed salery, Hurts to dump Gibson but due to hardcap restrictions i have no choice. Also cost me 3 2nds to shed him but a small price to pay considering the penaltys. Nogueira and possibly Brown will reap more playing time as a result. Kabongo may actually get some run aswell

We need a better player in the post than the scrubs we have waiting to expire. Granted, taking on the extra year of Taj is not ideal, we do have the flexibility to handle it. Picking up picks is always good on a young rebuilding team and that is what we are. While Wiggins, Giannis and Noel are our core, they still a bit away from competing. 3 picks is worth the extra year of salary in my eye.
Good dealing with Ben. Easy communication and able to work on a deal.
