Re: Regular Season - Sim 10
wow.
I specifically put Lebron at the point to guard Damian Lillard and Lillard shoots 24/29 from the field for 49 points and 10 assists. Portland shoots 64% to Indiana's 41% as Indiana is blown out 125 to 85. What.
EDIT: apparently the simmer did not update my depth chart changes, leaving Jarrett Jack on Lillard rather than Lebron James, who I wanted on Lillard.
Oh well. Blame Jack.

Holy Snike…
F'ing Harden torches us for 65 points! That mofo will be getting the old school Piston's rules next season. I'm going to figure out code to make my players take him out!
That is all that I can say, nothing would even make sense to talk about other than Harden going NBA JAM on us.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 10
Lost at Dallas, 95-123.
Looks like BestNamez switched some things without me knowing it and played Gasol at PF to shut down Love who killed him last game. Lin only played 24 minutes for some reason. They shot 51% from the field and we shot 38% from the field. There wasn't even a bright spot this game, everyone sucked.
Gotta hand it to Dallas, definitely didn't expect the switch up and it costed me the game.
8-6 now. We're still tied with Denver for 2nd after they lost to Nola, but we're 2 back from Utah as they beat Phoenix. Phoenix comes to play us in tomorrow's sim.

Got a big win over the Timberwolves. Switched up some things by adding Cunningham to the starting lineup and switching Gasol onto Love who shut him down, holding him to 2-14 shooting. I love it.
Mayo led the game with 25 points and 8 rebounds on 10-18 shooting and 5-9 from downtown. Gasol went for 19 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals. David West was key for us off the bench with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Zeller came off the bench with 16 points and 7 rebounds. George Hill struggled a bit shooting but still got 16 points and 9 assists while Nik Vuc had 14 points and 10 boards. Cunningham didn't do much but I still like the effort he put forward. We shot great as a team, crashed the boards, dished it out...I like this a lot from our team.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 10
Some pretty incredible facts this sim..
-> Lillard torching James for 49 pts on 24-29 shooting, while Indiana kept shooting (and missing) 3 pointers all night long (5-26 3pt)
-> Harden had an amazing game with 65. Amazing.
-> Deron did not suit, CP3 went for 44 with 7assists and 5 steals, and still was not enough
-> Heat with a .500 record. Pretty incredible for a team that won back to back championships. If only their manager could step up and do something, but it does not seems likely. Durant with 43 but still was not enough.
-> OKC and POR both reached .500, and now Northwest Division has 5 clubs with .500 or more. How good is that division?
-> Boston with 2 consecutive wins, and both wins against quality opponents. After Dennis showed he was not happy with his team, they responded with wins. Not bad after all.
-> After starting the season at 5-2, Bucks all the way to sub .500, with 7-8. Still, their great young core is doing really well, when almost no one believed they could win lots of games, specially after shipping Gasol. Gotta watch this team for the future.
-> Pelicans keep winning. Imagine how good can this team be with Waiters in lineup. They improved so much with that Cavs trade, cannot even measure how much.
Now, let's comment our sim, because I'm really happy.

Your four bigs combined to score 66 points with 35 boards. If they keep doing that, you can really dream with higher aspirations..

Like said, Rose was injured:P.. Thats why Lebron shut him down against the bulls.
I believe James is too Big (6-8, 240lbs) to get Stops against Lillard and Co. And with no Center behind him to stop driving PGs its an easy game for player like Lillard. But just my opinion and what I see by looking at the stats...

Anyway...we won @ Clippers but not really because the Clips depth chart was ignored and Deron didn't get the start like he should have...so we would have lost in all likelihood.

I edited that post. It doesn't appear that depth chart changes even occurred in that sim. Jack was apparently on Lillard all night despite me specifically putting Lebron at PG.DennisJ (BOS) wrote:BizGilwalker (IND) wrote:wow.

Yeah the depth charts weren't entered until after the sim for some odd reason...guess the simmer made a mistake ?

Just started to adjust tactics a bit. I believe thats why we started winning. And bazz is doing work since he got into the starting Five.
For NO, like said, this trade was lopsided like hell. They are the New heat. And cavaliers are on our Level now.
@biz: okay thats weired! Still Lebron shouldnt be able to.
My DC worked fine. But it was fucked up after last SIM. Why ever .

They were 100% entered before. Any mistakes made were game issues.
Re: Regular Season - Sim 10
CLE 107 - 118 OKC
Our team once again did well. Got a win against the Cavs, 11pts difference, and suddenly, after a hard start, we're .500. Of course, we still need to improve a lot, lots of corrections to be made, but it's nice to see that by adjusting tactics we managed to win some games.
-> Howard did great, dominated this game with 36 pts (15-19 shooting), 13 boards and 2 blocks. He's doing very well in that new offensive system, being able to dominate every matchup since we switched our style. Can't ask for more production from him, he's doing great.
-> What a game by Corey Brewer. Showing the world why he was inserted in starting lineup, going for 9-12 in route to 18 pts. Also, while Gordon scored 26, Brewer limited him to 8-22 FG, and he did most of his damage from the foul line.
-> Lowry played well with 17 / 7. Still, 5 fouls, he's doing that constantly.
-> George played only 23 min with foul trouble and, while he had a great stat line, I'm sure he can produce much more. Still, we got a win without him being a major contributor, which is something nice.
It must have been a fight over that game, 36 fouls from the Cavs and 33 from my team, 9 players with 4 or more fouls, 3 of them fouled out.. And no one got injured. Thank god.
Dec. 1 is coming, let's see what's coming next for OKC. Trade rumors are increasing, but we deny any speculation.

I did not IGNORE anyone's depth chart. I entered every single teams DC. If it did not register, that is a game issue.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 10
W vs. MIL
Faried had a great game and Anderson/Harrison had very solid numbers but we did a good job on everyone else. Parker broke out of his slump for 24/4 on 10-14 shooting while Cousins put up 26/8/3 w/ 5 stls & 2 blks on 11-15 shooting.
Mathews hurt his shoulder and is out for 11 days, Kemba and Thabo will see increased minutes in his place.

Our road woe continues with a tough lost to the Pelicans 109-115.
We just committed too many fouls (both Holiday and Monroe fouled out).
Next we got Cavs back home.
