TYREKE EVANS IS JESUS.

Lost both games as expected with benching guys for the Spurs trade, but Tyreke Evans went OFF. Granted he shot a TON of shots, he was really the only option and took advantage. 40 in a loss to Minny and 53 in the loss to Cleveland. 93 in two games. Wow.

Regular Season - Sim 22 Dallas – 88
Regular Season - Sim 22 Neworleans – 120

Anthony Davis – 32 pts, 6 reb, 4 blk
Marcus Smart – 28 pts, 3 reb, 2 blk
DeAndre Jordan – 16 pts, 9 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Carl Landry – 13 pts
Jose Calderon – 10 pts, 14 ast
Al-Farouq Aminu – 10 pts, 7 reb, 2 stl
Gary Harris – 7 pts, 4 reb, 7 ast, 2 stl

Easy win against the Mavericks. Davis was unstoppable offensively while Smart had one of his lowest assist games of the season, but Calderon stepped up with 14 assists of his own. Gary Harris also chipped in with seven assists as well. We had a season-low three turnovers as a team, which is just amazing for us especially after the way we have been turning it over lately. Vucevic had a double-double against us, which was surprising with Jordan on him all game.

My DC was all sorts of jacked up...WTF...I'm wondering what happened because it costed me a loss against the Pelicans. I wanted Gasol on Anthony Davis and that didn't happen at all. David West started at small forward and it ruined two games for me despite us getting a win against the Grizzlies. But it's the Grizzlies.

Not happy with that at all. I didn't make any changes to my DC, didn't sign anyone or send anyone to the DLeague.

Damn it.

I can understand the frustration, but trust me whe I tell you that we both have no chance at beating the Pels - doesn't matter the strat.

That's not the point at all. Regardless of what their team looks like versus what my team looks like, wins can happen no matter what. You can say it wouldn't have mattered but in my eyes, that's a loss that wasn't my fault at all. I feel any team can beat any team in the league regardless of records and players on both teams.

Really? Because last sim, OJ Mayo started and David West was on the bench.

12/19 - Sacramento Kings, 89 @ Minnesota Timberwolves, 118
Ben McLemore - 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block
Jeremy Lin - 22 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, 0 TOs
Kevin Love - 14 points, 18 rebounds, 1 assist
Danny Granger - 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 16 minutes played

I just about lost it when we blew a game to Memphis last sim and win here will preserve my sanity for the time being, even if we should be beating Sacramento 10 out of 10 times.

Tyreke had 40 points on 35 shots, which is ridiculous, and it's a little weird he didn't have this level of success in Charlotte.

McLemore hit 4 3s this game, Love had a ridiculous 18 rebounds, Jeremy Lin had a double double with 22 points and 10 assists, and even Danny Granger had 17 points in a game where he only played 16 minutes, which is odd in and of itself. Gotta be pleased with the result blowing them out by this much and with only 5 turnovers in the game, while they had 16. We shot 46% from the field and 43% from deep.

Now we go to Boston next sim in another must win game. Can't keep dropping games against non-playoff teams. Can't afford another L at this point.

Came out small, but according to last game's sim, the DC/SM did have Gasol at CE.

Which also means the HTML DC would have reflected it before the sim, so even if something went wonky (which appears it may have), you could've very easily caught it and just submitted a new manual DC before the sim.

The last time I submitted a depth chart was for sim days 12/11 and 12/12 (click the link I provided). I played against the Boston Celtics on 12/17 in which my depth chart was just fine (Gasol was at PF, I remember this being uploaded as I check the depth chart to make sure of injuries). I played 12/19 and 12/20 against the New Orleans Pelicans and the Memphis Grizzlies back to back tonight, in which my depth chart was messed up. I have NOT submitted any changes at all since 12/11 12/12 when DeMar DeRozan came back from injury.

W. vs CLE

Hibbert/Cousins dominated and we won by 18.

Next up NOP, Cousins vs. Davis should be fun.

BestNames - sorry that the DC was messed up. I'm not sure what happened but it does happen from time to time. I just hate that it came against my Pelicans when I was simming. If I had noticed anything wrong I would have changed it for you but unless there is a post in the DC thread I don't look at that team's DC & SM.

OKC 113 - 85 HOU

Away game against Harden-less Rockets. Last time we beat them by 20 with Harden dropping 46, and this time was a 28pt game without the Beard.
I'm not gonna take anything from this game since all the league knows how different and how good are the Rockets with Harden leading the way.
We had 6 players in double figures + 4 players with five+ points. Outboarded them hard (+11 difference), turned the ball less, shared the ball more, shot much better than their team.. Well, a great win, if not for them missing Harden.

15-10 now, good for 8th in West. Tough schedule to come with games against Utah (2), Bulls, and new-looking Phoenix and Brooklin, ending the month @ TOR. Lets see how many wins can this team pull.

Shot better against the Clippers but 29 turnovers to 7 and we were blown out on the road. Tough ask first up that's for sure. Gortat solid in his first outing but we'll get a proper file in now and see if the trade made any difference.

In Lebron's two previous games against Washington, he put up 41/8/7/5 in a 31-point win and 50/6/2 in a disappointing 6-point loss.

This time around, Lebron goes off for 55/7/4/3 in a tight four-point win. John Wall, Jan Vesely, Jonas Jerebko, and Manu Ginobili all fouled out for the Wizards, and Jarrett Jack, Kobe Bryant, Marreese Speights had five fouls, Dirk and Stiemsma had four each for the Pacers. The two teams shots a combined 105 free throw attempts. The referees' egos appear to have got in the way.

Lebron had 55/7/4/3, on 16-26 shooting (22-27 FTs), while Jarrett Jack backed him up with solid 26 points on 5-7 shooting (3-4 from deep, 13-15 FTs). John Wall led Washington with 38/8, Burks went 9-10 from the field with 22 points, and Blake Griffin went for 19/10/4.

Lost on the road to the only undefeated Home team..didn't expect to win it anyway. But now the Clippers pass us in the division.

Lopez had a good outing, but Klay failed to perform which really cost us.

Whoa! OKC handed our a's to us again, this time they served us on our home court.

Good ol fashioned beating, I thought we had a legitimate chance at home... I was wrong.

Good game Marcos.

Also thx Rizzo for jersey changes.

Thanks mate. Good game from your team too.. But missing a MVP sometimes is too much even for a championship team like yours. Hope next time he's available so we can play another good game!

Win vs CHI – 123-135
Solid win vs this tough Chicago team. Lillard led us 42 and LMA with 25. Beasley also played well against his former team scoring 15 in 14 mins. Finally Meyers Leonard was a bright spot with 12/7, 2 steals and 2 blocks. We had 13 TOs and forced 17. For CHI, Rose scored 41 but did not shoot as well as Lillard. Getting some well-deserved rest next sim before HOU comes to town

L: New York Knicks 115 @ 122 Miami Heat
Ricky Rubio: 20 points, 14 asists, 9 steals, 4 rebounds
Chris Bosh: 20 points, 8 rebounds
Kosta Koufos: 20 points, 9 rebounds

What a game in Miami!
We dominated most of the game, leading by as many as 13 points in the second quarter. But Miami made a comeback in both 3rd and 4th, and the W stayed at home, thanks in part to Durant's 51 point performance.

Rubio finished a steal shy of another triple-double, forcing Isaiah Thomas to 10 TOs too. But if finally wasn't enough against the Heat, although we go back home happy with the overall performance of the team.
