Re: Thunder <-> Clippers
So that’s the other move I had verbally committed with the Clippers.
Nene is one of the better big mans to pair with Howard. He can defend his man really well, is an efficient scorer, can board, hit jumpers and does not demand the ball to be useful both offensive and defensively. Nene fits as the 4th option offensively, and with Howard’s elite shot-blocking skills, we can use Nene’s excellent man-to-man defense along him at the interior. Also, worth saying our players have great ability to draw fouls, which can lead other team to huge foul problems.
With all those three moves it essentially means I’m something close to 75M in salaries for next season while maintaining a great team with depth and reducing the usage logjam problem. With more definite roles and a system in course we may be able to succeed with this new group.
EDIT: Thanks a lot rh0xxy for keeping your verbal commitment. Appreciate it!

Re: Thunder <-> Clippers
Clippers confirm.
Hate to see Nene go but it's part of the verbal commitment along with the Deron deal. Jefferson is arguably the better player here so no regret at all.
Thanks as well Marcos! til' next time
