Charlotte Trades Fan Favorite Stoudemire, Jefferson
Receives Kirilenko, Nicholson, 2015 DAL 1st, 2017 GSW 1st
Stoudemire is on a cap-friendly contract and averaging 17.2 points per game on only 12.7 shot attempts - a wicked 1.35 points per shot attempt, a metric used by Sun Scorched heavily in the evaluation of potential players.

He has held up his end of the bargain since signing a new contract with us, but we haven't held up our end. Our goal was the postseason and that's looking unlikely at this point. We had several conversations with Amare regarding options, were a trade presented that made sense for everyone. Golden State was one of the teams he expressed interest in. So when HiGrade reached out to us, we paid full attention.

Additionally, Andrew Nicholson will provide an interesting offensive look for us as a stretch four. Finally, we receive two first round picks as compensation for the value sent out in the trade. We're obviously in the asset allocation phase of a rebuild. Let me be clear, however, our goal is winning basketball and we won't be afraid to package any and all assets in a win-now move, even if the post season grows increasingly out of reach.

I'm not that big of a fan of Amare but he puts up much better stats than his ratings suggest. I think it was a solid deal for you since youre not competing for the championship this year unless you make a crazy run towards the end.

I think you undersold him considering how weak of a clas this is outside the top 2, and Dallas is on the rise winning I think 5 straight now. But I understand you might not have gotten a better offer.

We won 7 straight but had it come to an end last night with two losses. The pick will still be a decent pick though.
