Notes:
Note for all teams - ALL player movement transactions are done AFTER sim. This means, your roster cannot be at 11 (signing the player must be part of your trade) and d-league recalls/assignments are done AFTER sim. This is the last time i will do them before. You have all been warned if your DC is screwed up in the future because of this.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
Wow, we just blew 2 straight games against the Clippers and the Jazz, making it 3 losses in a row, and us being only 1 game above .500. Can't catch a damn break. And the icing on the cake is that Jeremy Lin is injured for the next 10 days.
Question - since the next few days are the all-star weekend, how is that going to be handled with sims?

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
First game of the Roy Hibbert era in SacTown goes quite well!
Sacramento Kings 102 - Toronto Raptors 79
Kings Top Performers:
Roy Hibbert: 25 points | 11 rebounds | 6 blocks
Roy Hibbert: 25 points | 11 rebounds | 6 blocks
Kawhi Leonard: 22 points | 6 rebounds | 3 assists | 3 steals
Our goal of being a defensive team looks good after our first game of the new era in Sacramento as we hold Toronto to 79 points. Roy Hibbert was awesome in his Kings debut, with 25/11/6. Hoping for more of the same!

A Huge win against a division mate. Kyrie almost gets a triple double. Wade has a solid night. Kanter had 12 rebounds. Mitchell had a few blocks. Great win as we push towards the 8th seed

HUGE Loss for the Pelicans as Waiters was just 11 days from making his return.
Now Anthony Davis is done for 285 Days....man that hurts.

And it's all Thomas Robinson's fault, who had a breakout game.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
W vs. WAS
We overcome a 41/13/2 performance by Griffin and Cousins dealing with foul trouble all game to win a 113-117 game.
Varejao had 23/17 as our new starting center and Reke put up 23 /w 4 stls while taking Crawford out of the game for the most part.
6 days off so Cousins will be healthy for our next game vs. ORL, hopefully we can extend this to a 5 game winning streak.

2-0 sim! Happy to get the wins but wondering what happened to Paul? He has been struggling of late. Not the Paul that carried this team seasons back. Hopefully he will return to his usual form as soon as possible. We badly need him to dominate to have a chance against the elite teams.

That sucks, Jordan has to step up and I guess Aminu will see more time at the 4 now. This changes a lot for the Western conference this year...

Damn, that's horrible luck.Jake0890 (MIN) wrote:Wow, Anthony Davis done for the year. That blows.
Anyway, two games in this sim. First was a 112-105 loss to Cleveland. Lebron had a substandard 32 point game and fouled out in 41 minutes. We were pounded 48-34 on the boards and that was the difference in the game. Kyrie led CLE with 30/11/7.
We then ripped Miami to shreds with a 131-88 blowout. Kevin Durant scored only 15 points and played just 22 minutes due to foul trouble. Lebron put up 48/11/9, and Kobe continues his solid play with another efficient 31 point game. Miami scored 88 points and 32 rebounds as a team: Lebron, Kobe, and Ersan Ilysova scored 94 points and 29 rebounds by themselves, as Indiana shot a crazy 58.9% from the field and outrebounded Miami by 20, giving us an enormous surge of momentum going into the All-Star break.

Tough loss for the Pelicans.
We lost to the Knicks in a tough game with both DeMar and Teague out. A tough game but we get both Teague and Franklin back after the All-Star break...Thankfully.

Well, nothing like a good old fashion beat down in your own building. We shot really bad, 39.0% from the floor and our defense only forced 12 turnovers.
Next up…

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
Not much time to extended comments because of exam tomorrow. Finally the last one so I'm gonna have lots of free time after that, and that will reflect in more participation and some articles here.
First we went to Charlotte, and once again a PF killed us.
Then to Orlando and, as they don't have a scoring machine at the PF position, they were not able to beat us.
Finally Nene will be back in uniform after the all star break.
Lost Bullock for 7 days though he'll be ready for our next game.

Perfect win versus NOP. Superb Thomas Robinson with 24 points & 13 boards and great defense over Smart. We feel the injury of AD, at that moment, the game was tied.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
1-1 sim. Not enough for Q.
Easy win @MIA 116-99. Wall (27-5- and Griffin (36-13) were well acompanied by Jordan Crawford (17 pts. 7/10FG 6 rebs & 7 asists.)
Thought win @ATL by only 4 pts. This was the second sim match and again @ another direct rival's home. We wanted to make it but amount of TOs and PFs prevented us from getting the win. Again Blake and Wall being the best of the team and probably the game.
Next: THE REMATCH vs. POR

Anthony Davis – 20 pts, 12 reb, 1 stl
Al-Farouq Aminu – 15 pts, 3 reb, 1 stl
Greivis Vasquez – 13 pts, 8 ast, 2 stl
Jason Smith – 12 pts, 7 reb
Marcus Smart – 10 pts (3-17 FGs), 5 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
Thomas Robinson – 24 pts, 13 reb, 1 stl
Wesley Mathews – 20 pts, 7 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl
Emeka Okafor – 17 pts, 8 reb
We lost a tough game to the Brooklyn Nets with Thomas Robinson just ballin’ out against us. Wesley Mathews added in an inefficient 20 against us while we were able to hold Steph Curry to just 12 points on the night. Marcus Smart had his worst shooting night of the season. We also connected on just one of our 11 three-pointers. Tough loss.
The real loss though is our star big man Anthony Davis going down with a torn MCL in the middle of the 3rd quarter. He was on his way to a monster game and kept us in it the whole way, but with this injury we go from perhaps the title favorites to just another Western Conference team. We are going to make the necessary adjustments to our strategies and lineups to stay as competitive as possible. It was such a tease knowing that Dion Waiters is going to be back in less than two weeks too.

Beat the Bulls on our court behind great defense and Melo leading the way and then took that defense to the new-look Milwaukee Bucks and shut them down as well. Melo and Knight led the way there, but the Knicks are still a game behind me keeping it close.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 50
W: New York Knicks 99 @ 84 Dallas Mavericks
Ricky Rubio: 22 points, 14 assists, 7 steals, 4 rebounds
JaVale McGee: 12 points, 11 rebounds, 6 blocks
Important win on the road against the Mavs, a team that has improved a lot lately. Before facing POR, NOP and us they were on a 7 game win streak, including some important wins against UTA and OKC specially.
So it's really a valuable win on the road for us.
We didn't play one of our best games, but once again Rubio carried us to the win with his play and leadership. We managed to force the Mavs to 29 TOs, thanks in part to Rubio's 7 steals and Lee's 4, while only committing 13 ourselves.
So we now are in the middle of another win streak, with 5 in a row now. If we add that to the previous one, we find that we're 17-1 in the last 18 games!
We have also reached the 38 win mark, the same amount of wins we had our first season, and we're still one before the All-Star!

You're pretty hard to chase man! We're 17-1 in the last 18 and still behind your Pistons! What do we need to do?
We've just started a 6 game road trip, so I might even lose track of you now. I might need to focus more on the Hawks coming strong, but let's see what happens.

Haha, tell me about it. Your team keeps crawling up my back and I can't find a way to get rid of you. Its going to be a tight race the rest of the way between you, me, and the Hawks for home court throughout and it might determine who ends up going to the finals. Good luck and I mean that in the most insincere way possible.
