Injury "Bug"

Yikes!

What is it with all of these ACL and or MCL Achilles Broken Arm Broken Leg injuries (among others) in DDSPB3?

Josh Smith Anthony Davis Dion Waiters Mason Plumlee Trevor Booker Russell Westbrook and the list goes on and on...

Were other versions of DDSPB (1 & 2) known for this?

It seems every season someone is guaranteed to go down for the count and you just cross your fingers and hope it isn't someone on your team.

Add tyson chandler to that list GS would be scary if he were healthy

In the NLL we use DDS2 and we've had like 11 or 12 guys go down with ACL or MCL this season...it gets pretty crazy lol

The following settings have been known to increase the potential for injury risk:

-High full court pressure
-High defensive intensity
-High pace
-Low zone

And of course, the higher MPG a player has, the more likely he is to get hurt.

Yes i put this and the record was very good but in one game six injuries. After i will make changes.

Yup, I lost John Henson for the season to a torn ACL in the NLL this year. For those who don't know, Henson is pretty much the NLL's equivalent to Anthony Davis over here, maybe even better. Can you tell I'm the luckiest sim manager in the world?

I would take you "luck" and take an injured Henson or Davis all day to have for them both for next year. Sign me up.

I don't even think its been that bad this season. The amount of teams playing 10 defensive intensity, 10 full court defense, 1 zone, and 10 offense pace (or something like that) is ridiculous. Its why Rhoxxy deals with so many injuries all the time.

I think it's very realistic.. I mean, at NBA you never see teams playing full court pressure or with a high defensive intensity at the regular season. They reserve it for the playoffs.
Here many teams play that system and it reflects on the number of injuries!

Yeah I didn't think about all of the wacky unrealistic zones high pressure full court d some of these guys are playing so yeah it is liable to happen.

Very good point about having all of those set to 10 especially for more than half of a season thus far.

And yeah forgot about Tyson Chandler, probably the most significant loss of the season thus far also.

Yea can be effective for win games but your team can have a lot of injuries.

I don't run 10's in any category at all. I'm not going to blame that for his injury. It is just a roll of the dice every single play and it happened to be Davis' unlucky day.
