Game file will be made available at the same time the HTML is. It will not be the official game file, but it will use the exact same roster set that the official game file will be using.

Sorry, I didn't get that 'unofficial gamefile' thing myles.
It's that the game file will show just what player belongs to each team and his contract situation, but not the ratings we'll be using, and that for the ratings we'll use the HTMLs?

No, he's saying the ratings and everything will be correct, but it won't be the file we use to start the season. Likely because he still needs to finish and enter the draft and things of that nature. HTML reflects the game so all ratings will be the same ratings we use once the season starts.

We are NOT using recently drafted rookies right ? This file is from the beginning of the most recent NBA season I would assume.

Right. Myles said that the Giannis/MCW class would be the most recent draft class included.

Yeah, there will still be some work that needs to be done after the unofficial file is released so rather than make you all wait, we'll just release a copy with the ratings so you can all get access to it sooner. Rosters might not be accurate (trades, contracts, draft picks) but the ratings will be.

Invisionfree or proboards should be good options. Although never really looked into either, just know they are free.

New board. Still checking out different forum sites and will post here when we have made the decision. I'm betting we move to invision free.

If anyone has suggestions for a new board, please let us know.

I think proboards is what we came from, and while it got the job done, it was a bit buggy. If invisionfree doesn't seem like a better option, we'll go back to proboards.

Proboards was awesome. Didn't look outdated at straight out of 2005 like this board does. So much better.

I love this feature. It is what I look at right away on here.

If we're going with realism for teams and picks, I reckon we should have injuries too. Easy to add into the DB if you knew someone was out for a while (if any are of course).

Definitely go with Invisionfree, it's much easier to customize (shout box, news box, lots and lots of skins, etc). If you go with IF and need help, let me know. I've dealt with IF boards for a long time and could mod one up and make it look pretty.

We like phpbb3 so I doubt we move to Invision. Dylan and I were both in a particular league that used Invision in the past and neither of us liked it.

Ah, okay. The only thing I didn't like about phpbb, was that it was harder to modify the board. I liked Invisionfree's simplicity to edit the board, add modifications, add skins, multiple skins even. We had like, 5 different skins to pick from for our members.
