Thats a lot to give up. If Lebron leaves that would cripple the pacers big time.

Re: Trade Chatter
I believe I'm ok for the start of the season, but of course I need more trades. Need shooting and depth.
Sad to see LeBron go. I don't like him, and you may not like him also, but I think you can imagine what I felt when I was comparing player production and discovered James actually scores more PPG and dishes more APG than Hibbert and George together. Also with less TPG and an incredible 55% FG. As much as I hate this guy, he alone is able to elevate a team to the top. Thought to trade, very thought.
The pacers are OK. Do not forget that they have Collison Jack Dudley & picks to trade at midseason. With Dragic / Stephenson / James / Kaman they only need a PF. And they can grab some PF assuming they have their MLE (which I don't know to be honest)

Hey, do not forget that if it backfires, they can swing LeBron and cash in big time with few other teams come deadline time.
Interest in James was high, I can guarantee you guys that. That was not the only nice offer I had.
Big time risk. But they're playing Miami, two time champions, and they have to beat them to come out of the East. LeBron is the only player who can outplay Durant.
To be honest, I'd do the same of I were Pacers GM. They're not winning agains Miami with the same team as last year. You gotta take some risks, and they'll have a lot of options at midseason.

Better hope they can convince Kobe to come to Indy for MLE.
Meantime this is a RealGM GMaT type of trade, way different here.

Kobe? Signing an MLE? He'll retire before that happens.

Completely disagree, in fact I think it's the opposite.
So many good teams already with max capspace next summer have no incentive to do it. Why trade any assets for him and deplete your team (ie Minny, Lakers etc) when you can just bid on him?
Btw Paul George is gonna be a FA as well so OKC may not be in the clear either but with Hibbert and or Howard as assets they should be in great shape.

Hahahaha nice Jake.
I don't know what that Real GM GMaT is, but I suppose it's some kind of trade machine. Anyway, I didn't get the comparison.
Well, all I could say is that you we're not expecting me to trade the game's most complete player if I didn't get enough depth for my team.

James Harden's CSL Finals performance definitely disagrees with this. Too bad you can no longer check the boxscore for those games.
**Spoiler Alert

Re: Trade Chatter
I believe Harden's performances were great. 31 PPG isn't easy to get. Still, I don't think he outplays the Durantula. If he did so, I think you'd have a ring by now..
That's hard to know as I can't check box scores though. I may me completely wrong.

He definitely didn't outplay Durant though. He had a miraculous run to the Finals, but once he got there, KD, and the Heat in general, thoroughly beat down your team, no offense (they would have done it to any other team in the league too). He might have been on par with Durant for 1, maybe 2, of the games, if I remember correctly, but in no way did he beat Durant.

Do not forget we have 30 teams in the game and lots of them don't have CAP. Believe me, there are a few teams willing to take the risk on James.
If things backfires for Indy, they can put LeBron for trade again. And I guarantee you we'll have another boom just like this one.

None taken. We got destroyed Game 1, Game 2 I believe 15pt blowout, Game 3 4-5pt loss, Game 4 1pt loss. Had Brand and Krstic as backups and figured out too late how to compete with Miami's tough ass team with who I had once Bismack got hurt by Dwight Howard in the WCF's.
But yeah Harden did outperform Durant in the Finals, definitely his equal throughout.

Only team/ GM who'll give up assets to get LeBron in a deadline deal in hopes of keeping him is BlackIce but even then why bother cause LeBron is opting out no matter where he is.
Teams will feverishly be working to clear cap now more than ever and as stated why would the Lakers or Wolves even trade for him when they could make a great pitch for him... and oh yeah so can the Nets since they'll only have Rondo and Brook Lopez on payroll I believe.

Last year the NW had 4 playoff teams, and I have no intention of missing the playoffs this year again, plus the only team I could see dropping out is the Nuggs, because they lost Dirk. Saying you feel 'confident' you'll win the division is really ballsy when you have myself, the Jazz, and the Thunder all in your division, and I disagree.

Don't sleep on Denver man, DMC was hurt all of last season practically and finished 4 games back of you.
Edit: Denver didn't "lose" Dirk just yet unless I missed him signing somewhere.

They renounced him I believe... and they're over the cap so they can't bring him back.

They then un-renounced him, after the league had spoken their mind.....

Here is another one - the best player in the division (conference?) is on POR roster....

LeBron to LA in 2015 is all but a done deal. No reason for the Lakers to make any trades whatsoever, Horford is gonna be a UFA but between his caphold, WB, and Beal and Butler they should have enough room to max LBJ.
I honestly don't see any way LeBron stays in Indy unless they have a miraculous Heat-like run the way KD err OP struck gold with his team but like the movie Highlander, Duncan McCloud says "There an be only one"...

Re: Trade Chatter
Yeah, they can bring Dirk back, they have a heck of a team, and lots of depth at every position besides SG..
Their "big 3" is pretty nice, if they manage to stay healthy, like any other team, I don't see them stepping back here.. Of course, they need to resign Dirk at all costs.

You better not expect me to finish the season with that roster
I have assets to hit big time again. It's just a question of december 31 coming.
