Pick 2 - Round 1 - Boston Celtics
With the second overall Pick Boston selects Alex Len from Maryland..
Having traded Nikola Vucevic last week Len was the obvious choice at #2. He impressed all scouts during the season and was the highest rated prospect for nearly the hole season.
During some workouts and an interview a few days ago, the franchise was sure they found their new star moving forward.
During the pre-daft tournament Len averaged 9 points, 7,5 rebounds and 1 block. It seems Wiggins will have a bigger impact right from the start but given time Len will be a great player and hopefully he will be a Celtic for a long time.

I actually had him #1 on my board early last season, even ahead of Wiggins until Wiggins dominated the draft camp. So he's a great pickup and should be an excellent building block for the team.

I believe the same, pretty boring pick, I know. Lets see if we could suprise more with our selection at #6.. provided we are still owning the rights to #6 by then..

I guess this year picking #2 wasn't that bad. You avoided having to choose between Wiggins and Len
As you mentioned, and after what we saw at the pre-draft camp, Andrew might have the biggest impact right away, but with Len you've got your starting center for years to come.
You first made Kanter successful under your system, and Vucevic played well in green too. Now it's time for Len to do the same. He'll have a pretty good opportuniy to develop in this young Celtics squad

The best thing about what Jamal said is that Len should be better than Kanter or Vucevic ever were. I mean, being the #2 pick and all, and the top rated prospect in this class, you should hope he becomes that good. Might take some time but Len's got skills.

I love Len, so I love this pick. I didn't scout him here, but as one of the only NBA players I've met/know (him, Randy Foye and Kyrie Irving), I'm a big fan. He certainly seems like he'll be the next really great center in the CSL.

Got your PG and C for the future so now to build around those two great building blocks.

In my opinion, centers are the 2nd hardest position to find and keep in sim leagues. Having Len as a cornerstone in your franchise is going to go a long way. Like this pick a lot for the Celtics!
