Round 1 - Pick 21 - Denver Nuggets

With the 21st pick, Nuggets select, C Artem Klimenko, from Russia

When DeMarcus Cousins went down last year, the Nuggets team went from a possible contender to a team barely made it to the playoff. There is no guarrantee if/when will the injury occures but Nugget GM David plan to provide more depth at key position. Thus, with the 21st pick, Nuggets select Artem Klimenko from Russia. Klimenko was not part of any of the original scouting, but he was someone who projected higher in Mock draft and had a nice pre-draft tournament. Nuggets will bring him off slowly and provide meaningful back up minutes to DeMarcus Cousins.

This guy absolutely dominated the tournament, but I'm not sure how much of that was a fluke and how much of that was actually skill.

That said, I think this is a great pick.

I didn't scout him too
I view him as a best available, based on Chad's big boards and pre-draft tournament.

He's alright, I prefer a couple of other Cs if you wanted to go that route, but he has a unique skillset offensively.

Had him as a blind 35 pick possibility based on his camp.
