Pick 4 - Round 1 - Milwaukee Bucks
Riot asked me to post the pick for him, so:
With the fourth overall pick in the 2014 CSL draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select... Andrew Harrison from the University of Kentucky.
Article will be posted soon.

His shooting scared me, in addition to being his limited to the 2.

as far as I see he really will struggle shooting the ball.. But his inside game should be pretty good.. for me he got results at ~Lens level..

Thing is though, when you have guards drive, their shooting percentages will usually go up, but their turnovers will also go up as well. At least that was the case in 2, where I've seen a few high handle point guards get trained to be slashers, and they're averaging 3-4 turnovers a game.

No doubt, it seems turnovers are a problem.. lets see how it works for Atlanta.

I agree, his outside shooting rating (projection/speculation) is worrisome depending on his potential in that area. Trying to mitigate that with shooters surrounding him so he has driving lanes and I don't get zoned in the playoffs (if I make it). Harrison is never going to be a sharp shooter. Hard to find a comparison that's playing now, he's about the same size as Iguodala ([Harrison] 6-5, 205 vs. [Iguodala] 6-6, 207) and kind of seems similar to him, but more offense oriented. Not a perfect comparison but that's the best I got until I see his ratings.

Turnovers, post defense vs. dominant frontcourts. and to a lesser extent shot selection (Kemba/Smith/Robinson) are big flaws with our team. Harrison is a rookie so there will be growing pains but on top of that Kemba and Smith can get really sloppy with the ball as well. Monroe/Smith is the best "passing" frontcourt in the league I think so I'm not worried about Kemba being a pure point I am more concerned about his shot selection and volume. I might tinker a bit with the bench a bit, maybe move KCP for a future asset and sign a Granger type but in the long run I'm banking on less responsibility for each starter paying off and in game adjustments/pref to maximize talent.

didnt say I dont like your team or the pickup! I believe Harrison will fit nicely into your roster due to the reasons you already adduced. You got a really great passing frontcourt, no doubt. Also I believe the bigger concern will be Kembas shot selection.
For us, I believe Harrison wouldnt have been a great fit, because two Guards unable to shoot.. Zones would have killed us:D.. It will be interesting to see your team.. It looks again completely different.

I wasn't being defensive, I actually agreed with you both. I took a gamble with Kemba because of his 3 point shooting and his perimeter defense. I took on Smith knowing his issues as well, but he didn't cost much. In terms of pure talent and the age of my team I'm happy but the cost is these issues. Might use Kemba like OKC used to use Harden. Thabo starts and Harden led the 2nd unit and took the bulk of their shots. Might do that with Chalmers/Kemba and pray Harrison/Smith/Monroe can run the offense. You both brought up legitimate points.
Harrison would be hard to run beside Schroeder for sure, but in general Len seems more well rounded with a higher floor and it's hard to find a franchise center.

I thought Harrison's value was because he was a tall PG prospect. Hearing that he will be limited to the shooting guard position worries be a bit about him. I think he can develop into a classic power guard that bullies his way to the rim. I'm sure BI will get the most out of his talents.

I can't say I know much about him. Have heard some comparisons to Beal but also that he will never have the handles needed to be a starting PG. All in all, if BL is keeping him, I know he has a plan for him.
