2014 Rookies First Impressions
We got a first look at many of our rookies. How're you liking them so far?
Personally quite impressed with our #30 overall Payne. Looks like a very good all-around player and is a 3-star prospect.
Hammons is about what I expected him to be. Should make a very good and efficient post scorer with some shotblocking ability.
Lastly, Burton is a pleasant surprise. He's very ready-now and has 60s SCR/HDL/DEF potential. He was a blind pick and I just went off his combine, but he looks pretty damn good. Not bad at 51 or whatever it was.

Just glad I didn't trade Beal for Randle. Very underwhelming in my file compared to the hype.
Harrison looks like a player who is pretty much done developing in my file, that's gotta be worrisome if that becomes the case.
Wiggins looks like he can become a legit MVP caliber player. The hype is real. At least in my file.

Re: 2014 Rookies First Impressions
Haven't been able to look at everyone, but up top Harrison, who I've been talking about, and Randle look really, really good. I feel like they should've gone before Len and Especially Bennett, personally.
Wiggins gonna be a superstar, at least on Smart's level.
Harris looks quite average like I expected, been saying he's looked overrated and a reach in the lottery. Same for Cauley, though I guess he's still technically the best overall C in the draft?
Ellis is another guy I really liked and he looks fantastic, might be the steal of the draft. You can see why SAC tried desperately to get him.

Sadly, the index hasn't been updated, so I don't know how Deshaun and Willie Cauley look. If someone wants to give me a quick overview, it'd be appreciated.

Harris was a gamble and looks as if he was a reach but he will still fill a valuable spot as a 3&D guy for us. Wiggins looks absolutely frightening!

I saw the same thing in my file. I also wasn't very impressed with Perry Ellis or Alex Len.

Same, I don't own the game but I'd imagine Balvin to be a 2-2.5 star prospect for us.

Re: 2014 Rookies First Impressions
Len is going to be a great two way center for us, nevertheless I cant see how he ever could have challenged wiggins for #1. wiggins looks just frightening with his 100 SCR.. lol..
Randle looks good but his rebouding seems to be just average and Harrison looks like he got nothing much left to develope. The gap between #2 and #3/4/5 looks to be way smaller than Expected. (If there is a "real gap")
The draftclass looks way weaker compared to last years. Payne at #30 and kaleb Tarc at #27 are looking like great steals (as far as I got time to take a look at the rooks).

Ratings are not accurate in game, the way I input them you will not see potentials until after TC, and the only accurate current ratings will be in the HTML.

You think I would know this by now. Here's to hoping that Gary Harris' ratings are better than they look now!

HTML is uploaded, so you can see true current ratings for all players.

Remember though, some of these guys jump sky high after the TC.

That's right. I keep forgetting 3's development curve is way more complex than 2's.

Wiggins looks like a stud although his handles are a little concerning. It will be nice to see these guys and revisit after TC though like Myles said.

Re: 2014 Rookies First Impressions
Klimenko has okay ratings.
He is pretty good at STL, which is somewhat a surprised.
Very happy with Diez.
He has decent overall ratings, which is more than what I can ask for a 2nd round pick.

I'll hold off until TC as I don't want to get TOO excited.

Re: 2014 Rookies First Impressions
Honestly, I think MKG may be one of the most underrated players in the game. He at least gives me a shot againt KD/LeBron/Melo and, now, Wiggins.
