Bucks send: O.J. Mayo
Mavericks send: Alex Poythress, Gerald Green

Bucks outgoing:
O.J. Mayo - $8,346,000

Mavericks outgoing:
Alex Poythress - $1,444,000
Gerald Green - $3,500,000

Mavs have the extra cap space to absorb the difference.

Bucks accept. As much as we like Mayo, we feel like we can get somebody cheaper in FA that can have a similar impact. Also, with drafting Harrison and acquiring Teague, Mayo became somewhat expendable. We love Poythress' potential as a low post scorer and should be a nice backup big for us. Green also offers swingman depth. On top of it all, this saves us a few dollars moving forward. Good dealing, DAL!

Dallas accepts the deal. We bring in a little bit more scoring power to either start or bring off the bench. Got quite a few players to play SG/SF now...will definitely have to sort that out very soon.
