Tyler Hansbrough and the Golden State Warriors agreed to a deal on Saturday night, sending the 28 year-old college standout out west. The contract will be for one year and approximately $1.9 million.

Carl Landry will be headed to the Big Easy, as he and the Pelicans agreed to a 1 year, $2.5 million deal on Saturday. Landry had averages of 6 points and 3 rebounds last season.

Nice pickup for Nola. Tried to get him at the min, but got outbid. He's definitely worth that contract imo. Didn't get much of a chance last year.

Glad to bring Hansbrough on board. Definitely needed since our only backup at PF/C is David Lee. Hans provides us with much needed depth. One thing I really like about him is he takes a minimum of 3 free throws per game with 20 minutes. His ability to draw fouls should help us out a bit. Now we need to get our other target.

Glad I could sign Jason Smith for way under his cap hold. That allowed us to free up some cash to offer Landry a larger deal so we could get him instead of him signing on with another team for the minimum. Well worth it to spend a little more this season to lock him up. Hoping he can stretch the D a little while AD goes to work in the post.
