Draft Rules

All picks must be made as a new thread, titled "Round # - Pick # - Team Name." You may discuss the pick on the thread itself.

1. First round picks will have 24 hours to make their pick, beginning from the time of the prior pick's post. If the first pick is selected at 1:30PM, then the next pick will have until 1:31PM the following day.

2. The second round will have a 12 hour clock, following the same rules as above.

3. If you are unable to make your pick, make sure to message myself, Dylan, SunScorched and OrangeParka (send it to ALL of us). The subject should state "Team Name - Pick #" and the contents of the message should be a list of the players you would like to draft at that pick choice.

4. You must post an article on why you made the pick, at least a 3 paragraph article is expected though articles of any length are welcome and encouraged especially for 1st round picks. If you have not done so by the time the draft is over you will be warned and if you fail to do so at a deadline (end of FA Period) the player will face a suspension.

5. If you pick a player that has withdrawn (ineligible) your pick will drop 20 slots in the order. The same will happen to any team that does not make their pick during the allocated time frame and has also failed to submit a wishlist.

I urge you to be careful when making your pick and make sure you select only eligible players.

6. If you have a pre-arranged trade for a pick, the team that originally owned the pick must post the thread for said pick. If the team acquiring the pick posts, the team will be penalized and an undrafted fake rookie will be signed to their team after the draft for three years.
