Insight – Center Review
#1 – Steven Adams is one of the best defensive anchors to ever come through the draft. Adams is that legit 7’0” low post stump that most GMs design their entire outlook around – well folks, here he is. Though scouts think he will develop some playmaking ability, he may never be an incredibly efficient low post threat. Though Adams rates out well from an intangibles standpoint, certain scouts are wary of his lack of effort from time to time. Still, Adams presents the opportunity to nab that rare low post monster and shouldn’t be overlooked for any reason.
#2 – Rasmus Larsen will surprise many, according to a few scouts. Though not as polished as many of the other centers available, Larson is brimming with potential. Larson is a great locker room guy with a tremendous work ethic. Additionally, Larsen can score from anywhere on the court. Though he won’t be the first player to look for his shot, he will be one of the first big men to look for his open teammates. Scouts note that Larsen will most likely never alter shots in the paint and needs to add muscle in order to compete against the veteran centers of the CSL.
#3 – Joel Embiid lacks the upside that his peers exhibit, but you can’t teach size. Scouts are predominantly worried about Embiid’s shooting ability on the next level. Though he has natural instincts around the rim, he will need to put in serious effort to be a positive for his team offensively. While Embiid possesses natural talent for the center position, he will never be a force defensively and a few scouts have voiced their concern over his ability to play within himself night in and out.
#4 – Zeke Marshall has made defense his calling card. Stout defensively with great weak-side help ability, Marshall will look to compliment an offensively gifted low-post running mate or team up with another defensive big to create a twin tower (of terror) scenario. Marshall will neither look to score or involve his teammates with regularity, but should be able to shoot efficiently with some work. Many scouts have been vocal about their concern regarding Marshall’s lack of fervor crashing the glass.
#5 – Nikola Milutinov projects to be a pretty average reserve center for the CSL. Scouts are worried about his commitment to defense, but Milutinov will bring decent skills across the board to teams looking to shore up their bench.

Re: Insight - Center Review
With lots of hype surrounding Embiid (at least in real NBA) I expected to read something better about him. Anyway, as we're stablished at C, we're not going for any of those guys.
Adams seems to be a nice prospect though.
