Keep in mind, this is only for extensions. For actual free agents you would like to sign in-season, you still go to the Player Movement section to post that.

No because you can only extend players when finishing his rookie contract, you cannot extend every player you want.

You can, actually. But the player needs to agree to the extension. You can work with SCDP on extensions of other players as well.

So are we just supposed to throw a number out there or is there some sort of guidelines to make an offer by ? Like are we able to see a players demands, etc or is that up to the agency ?

Well now, that's the question, isn't it?

We here at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce would encourage you to offer a contract at a level you feel syncs with the talent level of your pending free agent. That being said, beware that you don't lowball and offend our clients. They won't be at the negotiating table for long if they feel they are under-appreciated.
