Cavaliers-Pelicans Empty Cavaliers-Pelicans

Cleveland Cavaliers Send:

2015 CLE 2nd Round Pick
Total $$$ Sent: $0

New Orleans Pelicans Send:

Caron Butler - $1,352,181
Total $$$ Sent: $1,352,181

Trade should work financially since Cleveland has the cap space to absorb Butler's contract.

***Please note this trade cannot be processed until after Friday's sim. Wanted to post it now so that it could be approved by the admins and processed on December 1st.***

Pelicans accept. With Mike Dunleavy, Al-Farouq Aminu and now Mickael Pietrus on the roster, Caron Butler is expendable. As much as I like the defense he brings to the table, we can get that from Aminu and Pietrus so why not cash him in for a 2nd rounder?

Good dealing tkap and we wish you and your Cavs the best of luck this season.
