Would you be interested in D-League managers?
D-League Managers
So there has been some talk about finding volunteer managers for our d-league affiliates in my primer thread. Just thought id raise the question here. Can it be done? Is there enough interest?
Will post a poll in this thread to gauge interest.

Re: D-League Managers
If its possible I would love to manage my young guns and the Alberqueruqe Golden Birds.
I believe I would even assign one guy more to the D-League if its possible to manage the teams.

Hmmm - my first thought is that we will need to determine how much extra work this is for the people who sim. It's already a pretty involved process and there is already a pretty significant commitment by the simmers now that we're doing daily sims.

I assume all managers would only put together their team once and do a depth chart once. Cant imagine somebody would change tactics etc every game.

Honestly, from a development standpoint, you're better off giving players garbage time minutes at the pro level than sending them down to the D-League. Not to mention, if you have injuries, you have to waste a sim recalling them before you can use them.

Definatly was one my my 1st thoughts. Maybe only upload HTML once a week. And only allow DC edits post weekley upload?
Would still be miles better as a tool to develop our fringe CSLers

It's more involved than that. Not only do you have injuries to deal with, but if your guys get picked up as FAs, then you have to readjust for that as well.

I assume you will take charge of the Commodores, what about if I send Canaan?? would you give him the minutes?? Semaj Christon could play as SG.

Thats getting way ahead of ourselfs, But it would be the primary goal of all D-League managers to make sure all assigned players get rotational minutes.
but to answer you question yes Semaj is more of a SG anyway lol

Too much work to be done here. I could study or even sleep in that time
Not against the idea, it just isn't for me :/

While I think it'd be interesting and fun to see, I just think it'd be too time consuming for the simmers, they've already got enough on their plates at the moment.
