Come to Boston and you will go home disappointed.
Edit: though I assume something gone wrong with the manual DCs, maybe a bug?

Re: Regular Season - Sim 12
Another win vs ORL. We play as a whole team. Great at D (17 stls to 26 TOs for ORL) but 34 PF.
Re: Regular Season - Sim 12
December 29 - Minnesota Timberwolves, 102 @ Chicago Bulls 106
Kevin Love - 36 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal
Jeremy Lin - 11 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists
Danny Granger - 13 points, 8 rebounds
Kevin Love - 36 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal
Jeremy Lin - 11 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists
Danny Granger - 13 points, 8 rebounds
Our entire strategy this game was just to zone the hell out of the Bulls and make them shoot 3s... and that's exactly what happened. Problem is, Derrick Rose made 12 3s. He had 49 points in the game. Kevin Love had an incredible night and Jeremy Lin was 1 assists away from a triple double, Granger was 2 rebounds away from a double double. We had a great performance all around, forcing the Bulls to shot 39% from the field, but in the end, it came down to the Timberwolves vs. Derrick Rose, and Derrick Rose won.
Now we're at .500 and tied for last with Denver. We play Portland and New Orleans next sim. We've lost 3 in a row after blowing 2 games against Phoenix and Dallas. Funny how fast things can change.
Good news is that we'll have Ben McLemore back for our Portland and Nola games. That could be big for us considering we've been without him for the past ~5 games.

Lost to the Rockets on the road. Thought we could have pulled it off and we held them to a low shooting percentage, but unfortunately we also didn't shoot very well which led to us losing the game.

Lost a bit of a close one to the Thunder. Marc Gasol got in foul trouble and was done early...So that left David West to come in and draw a ton of fouls as he led the team with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Mayo really struggled to find his shot shooting 8-20 giving us 19 points. Nik Vuc with another double double at 18 points 10 rebounds. George Hill had an all around game of 7 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds. Ever since I benched him for a bit, he's really cut his turnovers down back in the lineup. Maybe it'll be time to let Wesley Johnson get some good burn on the court.

Pacers vs. Toronto: What a crazy game
1st note: GREG STIEMSMA IS A STAT SHEET STUFFER. In just 22 minutes of action, he recorded 10 points (5-5 shooting), 10 rebounds, and 10 BLOCKS, along with 3 steals.
Along with Stiemsma's 10 blocks, Chris Kaman came back from injury and recorded a near triple-double with blocks of his own with 8 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 more blocks!
Lebron James had 29 points on 29 shots as both teams were inefficient from the field.
For the Raptors, Kevin Seraphin had 19 points and 22 rebounds (15 offensive!!!) while Brandon Jennings recorded 23 points on 27 shots.
Pacers win by 13: 103-90. The Raptors grabbed 20 more rebounds than the Pacers but coughed up the ball 24 times and had their shots blocked a total of 19 times.
Pacers improve to 8-6, and play Milwaukee, Utah, Memphis, Brooklyn, and Toronto over the next ten days.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 12
– 111
– 94
Marcus Smart – 48 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast, 4 stl
Anthony Davis – 15 pts, 13 reb, 2 stl, 4 blk
Mike Dunleavy – 13 pts, 4 reb
DeAndre Jordan – 10 pts, 11 reb, 2 stl, 5 blk
Another win against the Nuggets but this time it was in Denver in that thin air. Marcus Smart dropped a career-high 48 points and filled the stat sheet in all other facets as well. The key was getting Jrue Holiday and Nikola Pekovic in foul trouble early and often as they combined to play 39 minutes and connecting on just 2-13 shot attempts. Loving the aggressiveness of our team so far, forcing the issue and getting opposing teams in foul trouble. We upped our defensive intensity and it seems to be working well. When Waiters comes back, we can up it even more and terrorize opposing teams.

We got shut down, Parker had a terrible game and couldn't do much offensively for us and Cousins had a poor showing with 14/12 w/ 3 stlks & 1 blk. With a few guys out this was a chance for some of our bench players (Pavlovic/Stuckey/Robinson) to step up and they failed to do so (outside of Harrellson).
Props to Len/Young/Hayward for putting on a show, BOS had a very balanced offense and held us to 81.
Next up DET
I believe if your right DC was inserted it would have become way more difficult for us. Thabo could have turned the game around IMO.
Win 91-81 against Atlanta
We are now on a three game winning streak beating Philadelphia, New York and Atlanta. We had a really tough schedule so far and it wont end as we are facing now Miami followed by a 5 game road trip to LAC, OKC, DEN, UTA, and CHI to meet DET afterwards ...
About the game.. We knew we wouldnt score as much as the last games as we had to turn down the pace because we wanted to play some fullcourt pressure to get Parker and co into turnover trouble as they are turnover prone for a "veteran team". Our young guns are just to unexperienced to play high pace and high pressure and would foul out to fast. Schröders and Youngs defense was the key as they hold Parker to 3/16 w 3 TO and Cousins to 4/17. Overall shot Atlanta 35%. Hayward had his worst game so far this season as he turned the ball over 5 times and shoot a pretty bad 6/16 from the field. But Im sure he will turn his game around the next games.
Keyplayers in Green
Alex Len - 15p,9r
Schröder - 10p, 5a, 2r w 2stl and top notch defense
Bazz - 17p
Hayward - 16p, 7r, 2a w 2blk
Young - 6p, 15r, 2blk and shutting down Cousins

Re: Regular Season - Sim 12
2-0 and, finally, a record over .500!
9-7 with 6 straight wins and the pressure is way lower.
Guys are stepping up to the challenge and playing accordingly to what I expect for them.
I hope our moves don't screw our chemistry and we can continue to win ball games!
No time to comment in every game right now as I only have mobile phone and no free time. But it's great to see George finally recording more assists than TO's, and our team knocking down 3 pointers with more consistency.

W: Los Angeles Lakers 86 @ 105 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 6 points, 14 asists, 8 rebounds
Chris Bosh: 29 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks
Kosta Koufos: 17 points, 11 rebounds in 26 mins off the bench
Important win against Westbrook and the Lakers. We played well the whole game, wining al 4 quarters.
Westbrook had 30 points, but Rubio did a decent job slowing him down, as he shot 11/26 and committed 7 TOs. And apart from 10 points from Watson, no other Laker scored in double figures, as we managed to force them to a 32.2% shooting night.
We did have an awful game from beyond the arc, going for just 2 from 18. But we managed get the win by being productive in other aspects of the game, like rebounding (with 56).

His 46 FGA are a CSL history high in a game (finally someone managed to shot more than Carmelo. That record couldn't be had by a Knicks player ).
The 29 3PTers attempted are also a CSL history high! The record was in hands of Curry with 28, as he also owns the now 3rd and 4th with 27 and 24.

Yeah, that was kind of the idea. Id rather him stand out beyond the 3 point line and shoot rather than destroy us from the inside. I had simmed zone against them offline and he didn't shoot nearly that well, but he was just on fire in the actual sim for some reason.

Isn't that exactly what the exhibition play button on the main menu is for? It lets you pick the file you want (so the csl.pbb file) and you pick the teams you want to play. I chose my team and Chicago's... the rosters loaded up, I could see my team was playing zone at all times because it shows a play by play type thing.
...right?

aaaaaaah okay, yeah, but you cant adjust your tactics there.
So it maybe just looked like its always Zone because the engine didnt display it right.
Or are you able to insert special tactics?

No, but it takes into account the tactics that you saved onto the file. I loaded up the online league, went to my philosophy and changed my zone to 10 rather than having it really low like I normally do. Then, I clicked the save button at the top left. Exited to the main menu. Loaded up the exhibition game like I said. The game reflected the changes and showed me playing zone. I could see Chicago playing zone a fair amount of the time as well.
All the changes in the file are reflected in the exhibition game as far as I can see. When I changed to dribble drive, Lin and Franklin drove a TON. When I changed to Iso, the game showed Love getting a ton of touches.
