Rookie Rankings V2
Hey guys, for these particular rankings, I had to redo them because I lost my previous notes on my last ones (as far from what game to what game to show improvement/declining, etc), so here are brand new Rookie Rankings done all over. So we'll delve right into the rankings so far.
28.7MPG, 21PPG, 1.3APG, 4.3RPG, 1.2SPG, 1.6BPG, .44% FG, 1.7TPG
So yeah, obviously there isn't a rookie in this class that will come remotely close to rising above Andrew Wiggins. He's still playing consistent basketball for the Magic, although his shooting has been a bit rough lately. Seems like he's getting close to that rookie wall that every rookie hits. Also, his fouling hasn't been keeping him on the court either. Still young, still a lot to learn.
26.6MPG, 13.3PPG, 1.3APG, 5.8RPG, .9SPG, .8BPG, .44% FG, 2TPG
Dario Saric has become Sacramento's most consistent rookie thus far now. He looks to be a great role player for the team, although we'll see how his minutes are managed with Tyreke Evans coming in to be the leader of the Kings. He's got the ability to score the ball almost at will. His shooting stroke is pretty spot on. One of the more exciting rookies in this class.
35.6MPG, 11.2PPG, 5.6APG, 3.4RPG, .7SPG, .8BPG, .41% FG, 3.9TPG
Kenall Williams has been coming into his own lately for the Phoenix Suns. Despite starting at shooting guard for the Suns, he handles the ball most of the times...And his inexperience in the league shows as he's up to 4 turnovers a game. Still though, like Saric for the Kings, Williams has a sweet shooting stroke as well (at least recently). He knows when to shoot and when to pass. Maybe he's the PG of the future for the Suns.
27.4MPG, 13.2PPG, 1.3APG, 3.1RPG, .3SPG, .1BPG, .41% FG, 1.8TPG
SHABAAAAZZZZ! He's finally getting starter minutes for the Celtics...And he's making great use of them. He's showing that he's the second best scoring rookie in the class behind Andrew Wiggins. My prediction for this kid, is that if he sticks with Boston for a couple of years, that he could end up being their leading scorer. He shoots, he drives, he gets to the free throw line...A bit of a one dimensional player but he'll score the ball.
15.1MPG, 7.8PPG, .5APG, 3.2RPG, .6SPG, .5BPG, .60% FG, .5TPG
I love this kid's production off the bench. Almost 8 points per game as a rookie is pretty damn sweet. Im curious to see what team he lands on as it's been heavily rumored that Ellis is on the trade block. Where ever he lands, we'll still follow him, and hope that he gets more playing time. Would love to see him land on a rebuilding team to develop a bit more.
26.2MPG, 11.8PPG, 2.6APG, 3.4RPG, 1.4SPG, .9BPG, .48% FG, 2.2TPG
Andrew Harrison is still one of the rawest rookies in the class, but he's got some nice potential. He'll likely always be in with the Bucks and get the playing time he needs to develop. He shows flashes of greatness every so often, getting to the free throw line at will...and then sometimes he'll look like a deer in headlights. Still though, he's been a fun rookie to watch during the season and we'll continue to hope he improves more.
30.6MPG, 11.4PPG, 5.7APG, 2.8RPG, .7SPG, .42% FG, 3.9TPG
Quite the fall for Carson. The CSL is much different than the NCAA and he's certainly finding that out the hard way too. His turnovers per game are tied for the highest out of the entire class (tied with Kendall Williams, tied for 5th in the ENTIRE league). It'll be interesting to see if Michael Carter-Williams will continue to start or if Jahii will be able to earn his spot back...plus with Tyreke now on the Kings, he'll be the one taking most of the shots now.
26.8MPG, 8.7PPG, .9APG, 6.8RPG, .4SPG, 1.4BPG, .43% FG, 1.3TPG
Lately, Alex Len has been struggling a lot...With games against the Clippers, Heat, Hawks, and Knicks (granted wins against Atlanta and New York), of course it was going to be rough. Still though, he's rebounding the ball, which is certainly what the Celts need. What's also been great for Len, is that he's been staying out of foul trouble too! That's always a huge plus, having your young center able to stay on the court to learn more.
26.2MPG, 8.8PPG, 1.3APG, 5.9RPG, .6SPG, .9BPG, .40% FG, 2.1TPG
It appears Julius Randle has run into the same problem Alex Len had at the beginning of the season...and that's not being able to stay on the court due to foul trouble. Teams are going right after the young rook and not going easy on him at all. The CSL is full of great, strong power forwards, and Randle is finding that out. Hopefully, he'll be able to find a better groove as the season goes on.
32.3MPG, 10.6PPG, 1.7APG, 6.4RPG, .5SPG, .6BPG, .38% FG, 1.1TPG
Another very raw rookie in this class, who is struggling to find his shot...He's been getting a little bit better as the season has progressed but not by much. Luckily for him though, he's got Mitch McGary helping him learn the way despite him only being a sophomore in the league. Phoenix wants Bennett to put up similar numbers as McGary and when that time comes...they'll be a sweet duo down in the paint.

Very nice! I love the visual upgrade!
Can't argue with these rankings. Cool to see Bazz start to turn it on. That could be a fun duo in Boston down the road. Phoenix has to be loving Williams as well, pretty impressive what he is doing.

Awesome graphics.
It's odd how much Alex Len has struggled. I LOVED his ratings coming into the season in scouting, he looked like a monster. Hasn't played that way in Boston so far though.
Willie Cauley still not producing enough for my team to make this list, but his defensive ability is definitely promising. He's already averaging 1.5 blocks per game, which is awesome to know that whenever Bogut has to come out of the game (who has 3.6 BPG) I have another shot blocker coming right back in. Shooting 52% too. Hopefully he makes one of these lists at some point.

Re: Rookie Rankings V2
Thanks guys. As for Willie, he is playing pretty well off the bench and if something happens to Bogut, you'll be able to rest better with Couley backing him up. Great defensive big.

Accurate ratings. Can't really argue any of them. Good article man and way to follow up on the first.

Re: Rookie Rankings V2
Randle has been struggling but I really like him long term and Wiggin's has a shot at the allstar game in his rookie season...contingent on Durant, LBJ or Melo being shipped out West. Seriously he's been great though and ORL has a bright future.
I'd put Harrison at #2 due to his efficiency and overall game but I'm a huge fan of him so I might be bias.
Great read.

Love the graphics for sure.
I'm hoping that Gary Harris can climb into the top-10 at some point but defensive numbers don't get nearly as much love as offensive numbers.

Huge graphics. I wish I knew how to do that!
Great read too.. If only there was another guy to compete with Wiggins...

Saric has been great for us. Absolutely thrilled with his play.
Wiggins has been just flat out dominant as a rookie. He's just so damn good.

He's just raw ~10-15 potentials left in nearly all categories. Not every Rookie can be developed like wiggins or bazz.
In scoring even ~20.

Well, Wiggins has had some off games but they are far outweighed by his great games.
Nice job with the rankings!
