The Rookie Rodeo in Chicago
New General Manager BenRipCity finds himself with a roster loaded with a mixture of rookies and seasoned vets. In addition to Derrick Rose,Rudy Gay and Monta Ellis. The Bulls also bolster one of the deepest front court in the CSL. Joakim Noah, Carlos Boozer and Taj Gibson will command the titans share of the minutes available in the front court.Talented rookie big men Rudy Gobert and Lucas "Bebe" Nogueira will battle it out for the remainder. Tim Hardaway Jr and Sergey Karasev should get some time backing up Gay and Ellis.
Here is a breakdown of the rookie bullpen in Chicago. (pun intended)
Rudy Gobert
7'2'' 238lbs
C 20 years old from France ( Cholet Basket)
At 7'2'' with a near 8 foot wingspan, Gobert figures to make and imeadiate impact on the Bulls interior defense as well as rebounding both sides of the ball.Rudy has solid positioning and footwork fundamentals and has drawn early praise from Bulls head coach Jerry Sloan. "Rudy is doing what I ask in practice.Defend the paint and rebound." Offensively Gobert has a ways to go. "he will likly get most of his touches on put backs and offensive rebounds". Said Sloan. All in all he should be a guy who can help now and later as he develops
Lucas "Bebe" Nogueira
7'0'' 220lbs
C 20 years old from Brazil ( Tuenti Móvil Estudiantes)
In one word Lucas Nogueira is "Raw". A jaw dropping athlete at 7'0'' 220lbs who can jump out of the gym. Lucas has long arms and great timing. With such a slight frame Lucas can have a hard time against robust gritty post players. Noguiera was given the nickname ''Bebe" by Brazilian teammates due to his tendency to shy away from contact and play a "Euro-Style ball''. Already a talented shot blocker, All Lucas needs is some time in the weight room and a coach like Jerry Sloan. Bulls fans could have the next Serge Ibaka or a D-League phenom. Only time will tell.
Tim Hardaway Jr
6'6'' 185lbs
SG/SF 21 years old from Michigan
Son of legend Timbug Hardaway. Tim Jr has picked up many of his dads old tricks. A True gunner from 3 point land and mid range.
Sports a lethal crossover. Hardaway has good court vision for a two guard and can heat up in a hurry. When asked where Tim might play Coach Jerry Sloan told CSL media. "I see Tim as a guy I can bring off the bench or start" "I wont pidgion hole him into a role, he is a basketball player I am gonna have him play basketball." It looks like Tim will see time right away.
Sergey Karasev
6'7'' 197lbs
SF 19 years old from Russia (Triumph Lyubertsy)
Sergey is another athletic project player. Good size and runs the court well. He is a Jack of all trades, Ace of none type player. Meaning he does alot of things well but nothing great. General manager BenRipCity when asked about Karasev. "Gergey is a glue guy." "Its unwise to overlook guys like that" This reporter agrees. Just ask Brandon Roy or Jalen Rose. They both had the same flags upon entering the league.

Yeah, there were a lot of rookies in Chicago last year, and unless they get the PT to develop, it might be wise to trade them for some developed players. I think all of them could be useful but they'll need to see the court.

A solid amount of young talent over there in Chicago. Not sure if you should keep them all or not, but definitely some solid assets.
Definitely stepped into a good situation there in Chicago. Best of luck.

I like Hardaway Jr and Gobert. Shame they didn't get much PT the last season.

I'm not convinced that any of these guys are gonna help your team go anywhere, so like the everyone else said, it might be wise to move these guys for more established players.

Dang I didn't even realize you had all that young talent. It may be time to cash in on that and get yourself another player who can help you now - or... to dump that Rudy Gay contract lol.
