– 124
– 104
Marcus Smart – 27 pts, 9 ast, 6 reb, 2 stl
DeAndre Jordan – 27 pts, 7 reb, 2 blk
Carl Landry – 14 pts, 1 blk
Al-Farouq Aminu – 13 pts, 5 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
Greivis Vasquez – 13 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl
Got a win over the sputtering Heat in Miami. Anthony Davis was very unproductive due to his leg injury. Probably should be sitting him but we are letting him play it out. We zoned the Heat hard and I’m not sure how much it really worked. Miami still hit six of their 13 threes. We absolutely dominated the glass 50-29 which was the difference in this one. We connected on 54% of our shots while Miami hit just over 40% of their own. Our 23 turnovers is very, very concerning.

TYREKE!
Scores 70 points combined in his first two games back in Sacramento. It's his team now!

Re: Regular Season - Sim 15
Again, thanks for the early sim Rizzo, and love the notes including all the trades and such put through.
Ecstatic about this one, 3rd win in a row after beating the Pelicans and Porltand. Honestly didn't think we would be able to contain DeMarcus, but instead, we held him to 17 points on 6/14 shooting. Parker had 32 points on us though. The turnstile of leading scorers for us keeps turning, this time McLemore leads us with 20, while KLove pitches in a huge double double and maintains his spot as one of the top rebounders in the league (#3). Granger continues to show why he's in the lead as a 6th man candidate even though his SF counterpart Parsons got shut down. We shot 47% from the field and 37% from deep while they shot 44% from the field and 27% from 3. We definitely didn't play exceptional outside of Love and McLemore, but you can't complain when beating a good team like the Hawks.
Tied with Portland for 2nd in the division, thought technically they get the edge over us because they are 10-7 while we are 11-8. We play Orlando next sim, last time we played we won convincingly 118-92.
12/2 - Minnesota Timberwolves, 105 @ Atlanta Hawks, 100
Ben McLemore - 20 points, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 rebound
Kevin Love - 18 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assistts, 2 steals
Danny Granger - 17 points, 3 rebounds
Jeremy Lin - 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists
Ben McLemore - 20 points, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 rebound
Kevin Love - 18 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assistts, 2 steals
Danny Granger - 17 points, 3 rebounds
Jeremy Lin - 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists

Re: Regular Season - Sim 15
The bi-polar-ness of this team is absurd. We just lost to Memphis 95-78
We can be on top of the world one night, to shooting 29.7% and scoring just 78 points in a game against a defensively-challenged Grizzlies team that had lost four straight by an average of more than 40 points. We also decided to let Rodrigue Beaubois go off for a 12/13/16 triple-double against us. Lebron had 13 of our 27 made field goals tonight. This team HAS to step up somehow. There are likely to be some changes around here soon.

It was actually a quadruple-double if you count his 10 turnover lol.

This game hates us. There's no way we're seriously this bad with what talent we have but seems we're not allowed to win. No biggie. We'll just try different things until something works I guess.

BOS 71 - 114 OKC
Without both Howard and Walker who are key pieces to my starting 5, we managed to win with more than 40 point-difference against the Celtics.
-> Paul George was absolutely on fire on this one with 29 / 7 / 4 and 5 steals. But the best part of his stat line was his lone TO. He's improving a lot on that category, committing a lot less TOs if you compare it with the start of the season. Driving less may be helping him.
-> Smith showed why I went after him. 22 off the bench in only 24 minutes, and 4-6 on 3 pointers. Huge.
-> I don't know if Boston tried to zone us hard but, as I said before, we're doing just fine on 3 pointers. 12-25 from deep as a team shows that.
-> Only 8 TO's to 27 assists. Only 18 fouls even though we're playing with a higher DI. Impressive.
-> What a job JJ Barea has done till now. From not playing a single game at SAC town to averaging 9 APG in his two games. And the best part. 18 assists and 3 Turnovers. Great pickup.
-> Millsap showed he can play C too, putting 10/9, although he fouled out. Still, I loved his production.
We improve to 11-8 tied with MIN at the loss column. Next sim at home against Memphis who just won against the Pacers. But I'm confident we can win this one.
Dwight and Kemba, we need you back. :/

Other two games on the road 1 win vs toronto with six injuries! Three starters 89-70 and lost in washiton. Is increible but we are positives.
After the eastern game we plah ten games at home and the best mans will can play.
The way is hard and largue go jazz!

L vs. MIN
We are on a 3 game skid, this game had a marque matchup with Cousins playing the 4 vs. Love and both had similar numbers.
Love: 18/15/3 w/ 2 stls on 7-17
Cousins: 17/14/5 w/ 4 stls & 2 blks on 6-14
McLemore stepped up for MIN and had a great game despite Mathews/Thabo guarding him and although Parsons had a bad shooting night Barnes was a huge liability out there shooting 4-16. Gotta tip the cap to MIN on a hard fought victory and prepare to face the Bucks.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 15
An ugly win against the Phoenix Suns. They shot better than us but we somehow were able to win. Guess it was the turnovers that we forced. George Hill led us with 25 points on 9-20 shooting...not good although he shot 50% from downtown on 7-14. Marc Gasol with a double double of 22 and 11 on 8-16 shooting as did Nik Vuc with 18 and 14. OJ Mayo could not find his stroke at all...3-22 from the field with only 9 points. Although he did have 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Wesley Johnson with an all around game of 6 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.
It also seems as if I wont be able to have DeMar back until after we play the Pelicans as he'll be ready on that day...So he'll be making his Maverick debut against the Atlanta Hawks.

I wonder if there's ever been this many 1 win teams this late in the season.

If you do some Maths it means his eFG% was 62,5% which is a very efficient number.. If only my guys could shoot like that every game LOL

Eh, he shot 45% from the field, so it's not that bad thinking about it, but I do like the 50% from downtown though.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 15
That's why the 3 ball is so valuable. I remember a Heat-Warriors game this season (NBA) in which both Curry and Lee had monster games..
Lee was 13-17 for 76,5% FG.. VERY IMPRESSIVE
Curry was 13-22 for almost 60% which is also huge but nothing considered Lee's FG%
But when you add the fact that Curry was 8/15 on 3s.. Then you do some maths..
And you have Lee with an eFG% of 76,5% (because he did not made any 3s), and Curry with an astonishing 77,2% eFG! So, even though he missed 5 more shots than Lee, he was more efficient.
That's the beauty of advanced stats. You can never judge a player by his stats alone..

Narrowly beat Toronto at home. 101-103. Damn the Raptors are to talented to be losing all those games. 2 of our hardest games have come against them so far this year.
JJ led the balanced scoring attack in this one with 25 points. Rose chipped in 19 points and 8 assists on horrible shooting, Jennings seems to give him fits. Noah had 14 points 23 rebounds and 3 blocks. Splitter had 14 points 10 rebounds. Bebe once again produced well given time 10 points 9 rebounds 3 blocks 2 steals

win at ORL - 132-114
Wiggins looks like he is going to be the best player in CSL history at some stage. Scored 25 against our zone shooting really well. LMA erupted to 35 and 14 while Lillard had 32 and 8. This was a close game but our experience helped in the end. We grabbed 8 more boards and committed 9 less TOs. Both teams shot really well but we took control with a 41-22 third quarter and never looked back.

W: Detroit Pistons 87 @ 116 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 32 points, 17 asists, 12 rebounds, 6 steals
Chase Budinger: 20 points, 4 asists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals
It was one of those nights for Rubio against the Pistons.
But it wasn't only the 'typical' 10-10-10 triple-double. I don't think we've witness a 32-17-12-6 performance like that in some time, as MVP chants were heard louder than ever at the Madison. It's also a career high in points and rebounds for him.
The kid spoiled Melo's return to the city, as we could also see what could be Anthony's worst game ever, as he went 1/11 for just 2 points in 32 minutes of play. And he had our by far worst defender in front in Budinger, so had nothing to do with us trying anything special to stop him. We've always said that we're OK with opponent stars going for 40 points against us as far as we get the win.
He'll sure want revenge in 4 days, when we play the Pistons back in Detroit this time. We'd better be prepared...
Meanwhile we move to 14-6, and keep our winning streak up to 5 games in a row now.

A win at home against the Clips behind Melo and Drummond followed by a horrible game against the Knicks on the road. Melo shot worse than ever and Jameer's 10 TOs show that I need an upgrade at PG to take the next step. That might be coming very shortly though. We'll see.
