I really appreciate DEN reaching out here as I feel that Afflalo fits what I was looking for. I wanted a traditional SG to put next to MKG and Afflalo fits that perfectly. His defense is atrocious, however, which is something I'm going to have to figure out. I most likely can't play Marshall and Afflalo together.

But Aaron can hit from distance and that was my goal.

It's tough to see Asik leave as I think he is one of the best bench players in the league, but hopefully Denver can get him more minutes backing up Monroe and Pekovic, as I was committed to developing Sullinger and Asik was only getting backup minutes at Center.

Nuggets accept this deal.
Affalo is a proto typical SG for the Nuggets. He has been wonderful addition for us with his outside shooting and low usage.
However, we need an enforcer type of player for us at the middle. Asik can grab boards and block shots.
Asik is a better player so we will compensate Bobcat wth the IND 1st.
