Our second trade and last trade for this offseason. Good GM's admit their mistakes and moving Cousins to DEN last season was a big one for us. Before he got injured last season he was the best big in the league and a legitimate MVP candidate...at age 23. In those 12 games with Denver he averaged 28/11/1 and 1.4 blks/1.8 stls on 50 FG%/65 FT% in 30 miuntes and he's a very good defender to boot. The 6'11, 300 pound center is dominant inside but can hit the 15 footer no problem (69 FGJ) and has better rebounding ratings then Kevin Love and on par with Dwight Howard. Happy to have this guy back.

Greg Monroe is a much higher IQ player and a gifted passer while comparable in many categories, Pekovic was a borderline allstar last season and is only 28 and KCP fits well on almost any team. We downgrade the Boston pick but in the end;

1. Consolidate for a superstar
2. Solves our minutes issue
3. Upgrade our backup PF spot with Thompson and add a good backup PG in Miller
4. Save around 11M next season with the savings from the deal and Miller expiring to keep our cap situation under control

Good dealing DEN, glad we got it done.

Nuggets approve.
It was very tough for me break up the Jrue Holiday and DeMarcus Cousin combo;especially when DMC is blossoming into a true superstar.
However, when DMC was injured last season, it took the life away from the Nuggets.
In return, the Nuggets receive 4 nice young talents and picks, lead by Greg Monero.
Will discuss the trade more in depth with an article later.
Great dealing with you, BI, best of luck!
