Iso offensive sets
I read somewhere that Iso offense is like Standard but with more emphasis on players with higher SCR ratong. What does this mean though? How does a high SCR player think in ISO offense situation? I mean does he think: I control the offense so I have to score a lot of points. Or is it: I control the offense but I do not necessarily have to do all the scoring. Or is it false to say the he controls the offense and will simply take a few more shots?
he may go 1 on 1 against a defendr and maybe face another defender - does he still want to shoot a tough shot or will he opt to pass? Same with zone - help defense will be there but does that mean he will still force it? Perhaps it depends on other ratings like IQ or something
Thoughts?

Iso offense simply means more shots will be taken by players with higher SCR rating. How that ends up happening depends on a number of factors, including the defense, the ability of the players around him, and the players IQ.

Yeah from what I understand, your team's main focus will be to get the ball in the players hands who has a high SCR rating.
Having multiple players with above 70scr will not benefit from using the ISO.

Re: Iso offensive sets
The Iso is one of the most powerful offensive sets in the game potentially, but you need 1-3 high SCR rating, highly efficient players to really pull it off. It's how I turned the NSL Suns into a 2nd round playoff team with Nash, Gortat, and a traded for Klay Thompson (dealt my own pick Top 1 protected for Klay at the start of the year).

Re: Iso offensive sets
but is it effective vs zone or good individual defenders?

Re: Iso offensive sets
As far as zone goes, that depends on who your primary scorers are. Individual defenders, it depends on the matchup.
