12/9 - Minnesota Timberwolves, 107 @ Charlotte Hornets, 98
Ben McLemore - 22 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist
Kevin Love - 15 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals
Jeremy Lin - 12 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists
Chandler Parsons - 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks
Ben McLemore - 22 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist
Kevin Love - 15 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals
Jeremy Lin - 12 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists
Chandler Parsons - 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks
This game concludes our 3 game win streak with a 2-1 record, only loss going to Orlando. This game was a little weird though. Kevin Love only played 20 minutes and Andrew Bogut played 24 while Blatche got 25 minutes and O'Neal had 10. Definitely not the gameplan, but can't complain if we won.
Amar'e had 39 points for them, MKG had 18, Dragic had 13, but outside of that, tehy didn't get much help from anyone. In general, we played poorly too. Love shot 33%, Danny Granger shot 4/11, and Young 4/10. Lin and Parsons were really the only bright spots. Lin was 3 assists away from a triple double, and Chandler Parsons shot 7/13 with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Our field goal percentage was a shit 43%, really, really bad.
Just an awful game from us really. Turnovers galore, terrible field goal percentage, tons of fouls, Love played 20 minutes... but a win is a win.
We're back at 3rd in the division, only behind Portland and Utah. Next sim we get the Lakers at home who will still be without Horford from a broken wrist.

Huge loss against the Warriors at their home court.
My whole interior was in foul trouble and our game plan did not work.
Kudos to them who were the best team.
No complaining about injuries, it happens with everyone and they're missing their starting C too. Not even close to compare Kemba + Howard to Chandler, but we cannot point to injuries as the reason we lost. We played bad, that's it. Hope next time, with maybe Howard and Kemba, we can perform better.

W vs. CHI
Solid win against an Eastern conference rival in CHI. Parker and Rose put on a show, both had 13 assists but Rose almost doubled our PG's points - 28 (Rose) vs. 16 (Parker). Still this was a big test for Parker and he stepped up. Barnes played Johnson to a draw but this game came down to our bigs shutting down Noah/Splitter. Cousins had a double double but struggled with foul trouble but Robinson/Okafor held down the fort.
We were +10 on the boards as well and won by 11. We are only 1/2 game back of WAS for 1st in the division, on to CHA.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 17
Wow...how did we pull off this win against the Pelicans?!
They shot better than us from the field, out rebounded us greatly, dished more dimes...But it looks like we took care of the ball much better than they did and got to the free throw line to seal the win. OJ Mayo led the team with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. George Hill had a very nice game with 21 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals while shooting very well from the field and did not turn over the ball once, after having huge issues earlier in the season. Then it was Wesley Johnson coming to life all of a sudden with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Gasol and Vuc struggled but Gasol had 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots.
We now will welcome back DeMar DeRozan to the lineup.

Won at home against the Bucks. Chris Paul makes up with his so-so performance last game with a 30-pt game.

Second win of the season. Funny we actually set the depth chart for Indiana after our first loss (which was respectable) but haven't changed it since and it worked against them the second time at least.
But now, sitting 2-18 and heading out on a road trip.

Stole what looks to be an OT home win against the Nuggets. We actually move out of last place in the Pacific with the win.

Also notable that the Hawks had 7 players in double figures. Splitter really played like shit compared to his normal output. Credit Cousins and Hibbert as Tiago has been our most consistent player all year.

What is it with Toronto and Phoenix winning during the same sim again?

Stephen Curry - 24pts, 8reb, 7ast, 3stl, 6/8 3pt
David Lee - 17pts, 5reb
Klay Thompson - 16pts, 3ast, 2stl, 5/6FG, 4/4 3pt
Tyler Hansbrough - 16pts, 7reb, 8/10FT
Andrei Kirilenko - 12pts, 3reb, 1stl
Eric Bledsoe - 11pts, 7ast, 4reb, 2stl
Trey Burke - 11pts, 3ast, 2reb, 1stl
Notes:
Big victory, but they didn't play Dwight or Kemba even though I think Dwight was well above 90% health. Either way, glad to get the win, we had 7 guys finish in double figures and the Splash Bros continue to shoot absolutely lights out, 51% and 49% from long range, taking a combined 13.6 attempts per game, just unheard of. Back to back games against the Clippers next...I'll be satisfied with a split but I think that might even be a stretch. We'll see.

Win vs SAC - 91-112
We continue to struggle from the field, in particular the three. Lillard erupted for 50 points as he dueled with Tyreke the entire game. Reke wasn't too bad either scoring 35.
Bradley, Allen and Harris combined for 2-15 from downtown. SAC zoned us and we struggled to make threes. Second ugly win in a row

Marcus Smart – 20 pts, 6 reb, 6 ast
DeAndre Jordan – 20 pts, 11 reb, 5 blk
Anthony Davis – 16 pts, 10 reb, 3 blk
Mike Dunleavy – 14 pts (4-7 3PT), 4 reb
Gary Harris – 11 pts (3-4 3PT), 4 reb, 3 ast
I am absolutely shocked that we lost this game. We outperformed Dallas in every statistical category except for turnovers and free throws. The disparity at the line is what killed us and I am more than willing to pay a fine to complain about the refs in this one. But in all seriousness, we zoned them hard and the Mavs hit on ten of their 25 threes but we shot better than they did from deep so that didn’t bother me. Smart missed 13 of his 21 shots while Greivis must have been in the zone chucking up 15 shot attempts. Unfortunately he only converted three of them…

Re: Regular Season - Sim 17
Beat the Knicks on our court this time by continuing to force teams to foul us. Melo came back from his two bad games to drop 34 points and 11 boards on the Knicks to go with Knights 29 points.
Rubio had his typical double double game, but no triple double this time (although he was 2 rebounds shy of it).
4 game road trip coming up next for us to prove we are one of the top teams in the East...

Re: Regular Season - Sim 17
Yeah, I think if we had Afflalo we could have pulled this off. But my .tem file was also screwed up, se we started a less-than-optimal unit against a solid team in the Wolves. Jake is right, ugly game all-around.
Amare had his best game of the season (and best game for a while now) shooting 50% from the field and even draining a trey. Haha, okay. The key for Amare has always been his ability to draw fouls and, thus, increase his PPSA. Here, he scored almost 1.4 points per shot attempt, which is stellar.
Good game Jake.

L: New York Knicks 95 @ 107 Detroit Pistons
Ricky Rubio: 14 points, 12 asists, 8 rebounds, 2 steals
Chase Budinger: 18 points, 7 rebounds
Lost in Detroit a game we lead by as many as 13 points. An horrible 21-35 4th quarter gave the W to the Pistons and the revenge from the previous game in New York.
Rubio flirted with the triple double once again, only 2 rebounds shy of it, but the foul trouble was the key to the game, as all Budinger, Bosh and McGee finished with 5, and that weakened us in the last and decisive quarter.
