Regular Season - Sim 23 Warriors- 82
Regular Season - Sim 23 Rockets- 93

Brook Lopez - 17pts, 9reb, 1blk, 9/20FT
Eric Bledsoe - 15pts, 5stl, 1blk
Rajon Rondo - 14pts, 7ast, 6reb, 3stl, 7/11FG
Klay Thompson - 14pts, 4reb, 2blk, 1stl
Trey Burke - 6pts, 5ast, 4reb, 4stl

Notes:

Well we got the steals I wanted, which is a promising sign. Maybe messing with the offensive set was our downfall, first time using Dribble Drive. Seemed to work for Rondo as he shot well, but everyone else was pretty poor. Winning in Houston is a lot to ask for, but I thought we might of had a good chance. Probably shouldn't have messed with the offensive set as everytime I do we lose..oh well. This road trip isn't gonna be fun. Dallas up next.

12/22 - Boston Celtics, 77 @ Minnesota Timberwolves, 104
Ben McLemore - 20 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist
Jeremy Lin - 20 points, 9 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks
Kevin Love - 16 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals
Danny Granger - 14 points 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals

Though we beat the Celtics, we still are struggling. 41% from the field, 32% from 3. McLemore, Franklin, and Granger both shotbelow 33%. We really need to change some things up, maybe that means some trades to try to fix this. The team just isn't playing well together right now. In any case, changes need to be made.

We held Hayward to 14 points and the Celtics shot 41% overall and 20% from deep, so I guess our defense was good for once.

15-12 now and we have Chicago up next. We need to keep winning to catch up to OKC in the division.

Regular Season - Sim 23 Atlanta – 96
Regular Season - Sim 23 Neworleans – 118

Marcus Smart – 38 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast, 1 blk
Carl Landry – 16 pts, 4 reb
DeAndre Jordan – 13 pts, 9 reb, 3 blk
Jason Smith – 12 pts, 6 reb
Jose Calderon – 12 pts, 6 ast, 1 stl
Al-Farouq Aminu – 11 pts, 4 reb, 2 stl
Anthony Davis – 10 pts, 5 reb, 4 blk

Seven players in double figures for the Pelicans as we run away with this one by 22 points. We held Cousins to just 20 points tonight while the Hawks did a great job neutralizing Anthony Davis. Fortunately for us, Marcus Smart was a beast as he connected on 10 of his 18 shots and only missed one of his 19 free throws. I am eagerly awaiting the return of Dion Waiters to see how good this team can really be.

CHI 103 - 117 OKC

A huge win at home against one of the best teams in the league. Must say I was very worried about that game, but we did a great job defending their team.
-> Gosh how efficient were Howard and PG? combined for 17-24 shooting in route for 37 points combined. That's a 70,9% of FGs split between both, with Howard scoring on 77% of his shots. Amazing. D12 added 16 boards and PG24 6 assists and 3 boards.
-> Kemba was a man among boys. Top scorer with 25 points on 50% FG and 9-10 FTs. Even added 6 assist to 2 TOs, and limited Rose scoring to just 14 points. Great job young fella.
-> 17/6 and 4 assists to Al Jef off the bench. In only 27 minutes.
-> Bullock with a really bad game with 3-11 FG and 1-63pts, but that happens when you're so young like this kid is.
-> LITTLE NATE 5-5 on 3s in 12 minutes. good for 15 points without a single miss. That's why I love this little boy. Nate the great!

Both teams shot remarkable high FG% on a slow-paced game. We managed to get the win and improve to 16-10. Gotta continue to improve though. And there are still changes to be made.

L vs. NOP

Cousins won the matchup with Davis handily but Marcus Smart went off for 38 points and did a good job defensively on Parker. Harrellson/Pavlovic played a combined 35 minutes but actually had good games so I can't complain.

Next up LAL. From Smart to Westbrook. Great.

Road game against Utah for the first game of a wholly new lineup is a tough ask, so no surprise here. Some encouraging signs, though - We dropped 97 on a defense that averages 85.5/game and shot 47.9% against a team that allows 40.7. And 41.8% from 3 point line when they normally allow 33.7. Bad news is the 21 turnovers playing a major role in our deficit, but that will improve with time.

We were also hurt by Porter only playing 19 minutes due to foul trouble. Still things to work on, but we're already looking a lot better overall.

W: Cleveland Cavaliers 109 @ 138 New York Knicks
Ricky Rubio: 18 points, 12 asists, 7 rebounds, 3 steals
Chris Bosh: 29 points in 33 mins
JaVale McGee: 26 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks in 31 mins

Another great high scoring game for the Knicks.
The first quarter already decided the match, as we starter really strong to end the quarter with 15-40 (+25) in the scoreboard.

Bosh and McGee both made huge damange in the Cavs frontcourt, and Rubio produced another of his near triple-doubles.

I actually thought we had a chance to win this at home but even though we still have some talent, the strategies must be so wrong it's not funny. No way are we a 2 win team with this lineup but we'll keep plugging away and try and find the right mix I guess.
