Lillard joining MVP race?
Damian Lillard has been lights out this season. With the amazing averages of 32.3 points and per game and 8.1 assists per game – he’s been carrying this Portland team. So far, he had more games where he scored more than 40 points than games where he scored less than 20.
‘Damian is playing phenomenal ball. He is one of the most dynamic scorers in the game today. He definitely should be in All-League and MVP discussions this season.’ - coach Avery Johnson said
His team badly needed this contribution as the schedule has not been kind to them. 'We've had some great games. This team is going to achieve a lot this season and in the coming years. I am happy to be part of it.' - said Lillard

Kevin Durant is averaging 40 points per game and James Harden is averaging 35 on 60% shooting.
He might be in the race, but he's not anywhere close to the top.

Re: Lillard joining MVP race?
Yeah I certainly agree, Damian Lillard has been playing fantastic ball.
I think he's shooting .500+ from the field last I checked, he and Harden are the only non bigs in the Top 10 in FG% which is amazing to me.
Definite MVP candidate, good work andrei.
Also might I add, Durant is avg'ing 40pts in 44MINS OF PLAY which is ridiculous, if the League is controlling that team I hope they monitor his mins more wisely since the GM has disappeared.

It's stupid Lillard is only in his 2nd year and has loads of potential left according to my scouts...he's going to end up better than both Harden & Durant once he's developed at this rate.

Yeah, he's certainly in the race for MVP talks. Killing it this year.
