Re: Regular Season - Sim 30
Finally got a win! Against the best team in the league in Utah.
DeMar led us with 28 points on 10-22 shooting. George Hill was big for us going for 17 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds while getting to the free throw line (8-11). OJ Mayo off the bench with 15 points. Gasol got in foul trouble quickly but was about to have a monster game. Vuc off the bench for 8 points and 9 rebounds in 10 minutes...with 5 fouls. I'll take the win.

OKC 101 - 95 MIN
Amazing win away from home. Deron was awful, Singleton also, but we'll take the win. Shot worse than Minny and they nailed 5 3s to our only deep ball. Still FT was a huge factor, Howard had his way with 22 FTs and they fouled us 30 times.
McLemore had a game to remember, 12-16 from the field. Let's see if this SGs trend continues, George may be too big and heavy to defend SGs, maybe brewer has to start with George sliding to SF again, but let's give this squad more time together.
Nice win at Minny and I'll take a win over great stats any day. Also, we finally have a winning record away too, 10-9.
21-13 overall and we're consolidating even more a Playoff position.
Next we have a 7 game home stretch and after an away game 2 more at home, meaning 9 at home for our next 10. We must secure every home win possible to consolidate our position even more, because there's an 8 game road trip coming at February.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 30
Our 8-game win streak comes to an end at the hands of the Warriors, who beat us 118-100. Lebron put in his typical 40, but nobody else really stepped up. Parker and Bryant only had 29 combined, and nobody else scored more than 7. Greg Stiemsma recorded 7 blocks in 19 minutes, but fouled out and was a non-factor everywhere else.
Brook Lopez and Rondo led GS with 26/6 and 25/11/9.

A 45-pt win at home over the Nuggets in post deron trade. Paul just outclassed Holiday. Kemba showed some promise with his double-double, while Josh make work of Ariza. JR was good off the bench also.

Russell Westbrook interview in the Al Horford article was the kiss of death, had a feeling something would happen.
Just like Harden's remarks about getting rest prior to Lakers game when he got injured.

Pathetic home loss to a Kings team we should have beaten even with their own remake.

W vs. MIL
Solid team effort in this one, we had a good defensive showing and Barnes led the way with 24/5/2 w/ 1 blks & stl while holding former Hawk and future star - Kyle Anderson - to 8 points on 3-14 shooting.
Next up is MIL again, this time @ home

Westbrook injured AGAIN ?! Lol man that's huge. He has major injury problems, he's great when he can stay on the court but those issues would turn me away...unless you can limit him to 28-32 minutes a game I guess...either way, makes things better for me I guess.

Brook Lopez - 26pts, 6reb, 3blk, 12/15FT
Rajon Rondo - 25pts, 11ast, 9reb, 2stl
Eric Bledsoe - 21pts, 5reb, 3stl
Klay Thompson - 16pts, 6reb, 6ast
Notes:
Such a huge win for us as we overcame LeBron's 40 point effort while on the road too. I was confident that we could beat Indiana whenever, but I definitely had my doubts about being on the road due to our track record. Hopefully the adjustments I made work well, not just for this game but for the rest on our road trip. Hoping I find the right mix of offense for our team as they all played terrific. Rondo with his best game as a Warrior was a good sign and Lopez didn't get into foul trouble early which helped. We have Detroit on the road coming up next which I have absolutely no confidence in winning that game whatsoever, lol.

Win vs LAL – 84-113
Lillard led the way with 33/10/5 and LMA chipped in with 21 in only 23 minutes. Henson and Leonard continue to be amazing off the bench combining for 23/13 and 3 blocks. We shot 52% from the floor and 43% from downtown. We also had only 10 TOs. Westbrook got injured after 5 mins and the Lakers were led by Gasol with 19/12 and Hortford had a good come back game with 16/11.

Rockets 89 Celtics 80
James Harden shoots over Celtics SG Shabazz Muhammad
We went into a trap game in Boston facing a staunch zone defense which led to Harden shooting 11-27 from the field for 26pts while also grabbing 7rebs to go along with 3asts. Really liking what I'm getting from Biyombo, not great FG% which I still am figuring out but he's rebounding and blocking shots like a man for me (10rebs 5blks vs Len). Hayward had a great game against us going for 31pts.
Next up Miami.

– 80
– 134
Marcus Thornton – 21 pts, 3 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl
Thaddeus Young – 21 pts (7-21 FG), 4 reb, 1 stl
Drew Gooden – 14 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk
Anthony Davis – 39 pts, 12 reb
Marcus Smart – 37 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl
Carl Landry – 12 pts, 3 reb
DeAndre Jordan – 10 pts, 10 reb, 3 blk
An absolute blowout of the Grizzlies allows us to cruise to an easy W. I wish the blowout lineup would kick in a lot sooner because I don’t want to see Anthony Davis playing 34 minutes in a 54-point win. That just shouldn’t happen. How about getting Jason Smith and Greivis Vasquez more playing time and allowing Davis and Marcus Smart to get some rest in? Oh well, a win is a win and we will be happy regardless.
A big shout out to Dallas for knocking off the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City! They were able to weather the storm from Derrick Favors and steal a win on the road, allowing us to pull even in the standings with the Jazz!

W: Washington Wizards 92 @ 112 New York Knicks
JaVale McGee: 26 points, 11 rebounds, 6 blocks
Ricky Rubio: 2 points, 22 asists, 7 rebounds
Chase Budinger: 20 points, 7 rebounds
Not an easy games as it looks like by the final result.
Wizards dominated the first half, with a 51-42 lead on the scoreboard at the half.
But the 3rd quarter things turned around for the Knicks, as we managed to gain the lead with a 70-44 effort.
Chase, Chris, JaVale and Courtney provided the scoring with 81 points combined, and Ricky run the show with 22 asists.

Wow. 2 months out with a broken leg, that's really bad news for the Lakers once again, who were doing great guided by his PG.
Postseason might be in danger for the Lakers without him, although who knows in the west. Actually only the Wolves, and maybe the Nuggets, look close enough to battle for another playoff spot.

Lost to the Raps on the road with Sanders injured. Jennings lit up Jameer which makes it even more of a need that we need to upgrade our PG spot if we want to challenge the rest of the East in the playoffs.
Sucks for Westbrook though. Some players in this game are just injury prone and need to be limited in their minutes and he seems like one of them.

Did you mean Howard, my friend?
Third time this season he's facing a minor injury.. Tough to handle that :/

I know, I was just kidding, because Howard is a little but injury prone too.. 3 injuries and we've just arrived January, I'm trying to guess how many more are coming..

Howard gets thos elittle injuries, but youre playing him right by giving him around 31 minutes a game which is good.
Westbrook was bound to get hurt again though playing for 38 minutes a game. I'm actually surprised Beal hasn't gone down yet putting up 39 minutes per game all season.

Re: Regular Season - Sim 30
Westbrook goes down again, wow. Lakeshow will figure out a way to weather the storm until he comes back. One of the benefits of building a strong bench is the ability to limit minutes for your stars, but with their max bid pending they don't have the flexibility to really add to their bench.
